Thanks you for the kind words ^V^;

The art is so PRETTY! I loved this take on the timing-based genre. It played surprisingly well too except some timing mishaps (might be just me though). Now I miss my Construct 2 days TvT. Super fun!

Challengingly fun. Using the shadows to not overheat is such a creative concept. I like it!

The atmosphere of the game is well done… pun intended! The implementation of the light and shadow theme is fantastic. Moo-ving on, the art is absolutely adorable but still fits perfectly, especially the alien. It gives off this tranquil yet slightly horror vibe, but holy cow, it’s cute TvT The little opening cutscene, the sounds, it all works well together. Honestly, this is a fantastic job for a first jam game. Hope you continue with this.

You had my attention from the start with that interactive menu XD (Great job innovating there as well). The music, sfx and and art all really tie in together with the ice cream theme (and the jam’s optional theme as well..in fact too well). The concept although simple is well executed (got exactly 50 licks on my second attempt). Fun game!

Thank you so much ^V^

Thank you ^v^;

The mask mechanic is a nice concept. I loved the progression system here and the difficulty increased at a steady pace. Great job! :)

First things first, I liked the controls, wasn’t too jarring or slow. The fading transitions and entities blinking when you begin a level were nice details of polish. It’s understandable to not have enough time for more mechanics or difficult levels so I’m not gonna touch that (Even I struggle with that). Maybe if you’re still interested in the game you could continue to work on it post-jam? I might be dumb or didn’t see it somewhere but I wanted a restart button so bad. Asides that though I like this a lot! :)

Sorry, my reply went somewhere else…but yeah you still earn the cactus-hugger badge XD. Thanks for playing!

This honestly isn’t bad for a first game jam. I didn’t get the goal of the game and the lighting was a bit of a problem (especially in the third room). But you still have more room for improvement here. I highly suggest you try to submit web builds of your jam games with or without downloadable versions to make playtesting and rating quicker for other jammers. Great use of the assets and I wish you the best of luck!…..don’t stop jamming ^V^

Thanks!

Thanks for playing! <3

Loved the retro look of the game (especially the looney-tunes-styled transition). Good level design too, this was fun to play!

I’m a sucker for time-bending mechanics so I liked this one. There are issues with collisions though (I could at times walk through walls). The “BOO” feature was a great design choice too! Nice game! :)

Thank youuu! ^V^

Simplicity at it’s best! Nice take on the theme and great level design! :)

Love the Doom vibes here. This is quite impressive for a 72-hour jam to be honest. This might be a me problem but I had difficulties with the mouse sensitivity at first until I got adjusted. Fun game!

Wasn’t expecting jumpscares in the jam (~v~). Great use of the CRT shader. I was a bit confused at first until attempting several times although I think the difficulty could be tuned a bit. Nicely done game!

This was quite fun to play! (managed to get 112) and I loved the particle effects and minimalism. I only wish there was some way to tell the current bullet type of the gun, it’s what hindered me from scoring higher. Great job nonetheless! :)

Very short but nicely put together game!

The effects look great (the animations and the camera panning effects) but it was too difficult for me. I loved this version of the control scheme though unlike the usual arrow keys. With more time you could make this even better. Good job!

Forget my FPS turning into a rare collectible, this looks really good honestly (nice shaders and sfx). Great work creating that spooky atmosphere! Hoping to see the optimized version in the coming future. Great job! (^v^)

I like how the music kicks in once the game starts. I wasn’t sure what to do to win at first but I got it after my first attempt (perhaps you could make the balance indicator a bit more noticeable?) Asides that nitpick though this was fun! :D

You score full creativity points! I especially loved the animation where the player’s body segments switch colours. I also appreciate the added UI elements (I think the score counter is buggy though). The player felt good to control too (although at times a little difficult to steer but that might just be me). Very cool entry! :D

Well this was tense. You actually managed to sell the psychological horror vibe pretty well and your take on the theme is really creative. Sticking to the title and theme you did a great job with the art and accompanying animations (sfx too) The twist in the end was unexpected. Well done! :)

Thanks a lot for the feedback! It was my mistake for not making the alternative controls clearer (WASD/J and Arrow Keys/X). Totally understandable if that tripped you up a bit. Thanks for playing! ^V^

I’m glad you were able to complete it. Thanks for trying it out! :D

Thank you!! (^V^). This makes me happy that you liked it. Thank you for playing!

I appreciate the minimalism you went for here. The music just added to the relaxing atmosphere (good choice of music). And the upgrades system too was well thought off (all though I think it could still need time for adjustments). I only found the player movement a tiny bit slippery with the default movement speed a little too slow; trying to catch candy at first was a bit difficult. But asides that minor issue, this was quite fun to play. Great job! :)

I loved the calm feeling this gave me. The greyscale palette here really works well (idk but i love the grey background). Great work with the fishing mechanic too! :)

The greyscale look really makes the game more atmospheric (: I was a bit uncomfortable with the small lighting at first but it added to the immersion I guess. This is pretty good for a first game jam, keep it up! :D

I’m glad you got it (^v^;) Thanks for playing!

Thank you! :)

Congratulations on being the first to actually give me a scare in the jam (played this with headphones on and high volume when the screaming sfx got me, for that alone you deserve scare points). I think the art works well with the excellent atmosphere and the sounds….well my reaction says enough. Creative take on the theme. Great execution!

The take on the theme is really creative! In just 24 hours you managed to create a visually appealing game with a great concept. Very noice! :D

The red dots obstructing your path was a great difficulty mechanic! I was thrown away a bit when I realized I was stuck to just arrow keys with the inputs malfunctioning at first but it later fixed itself somehow. Nice game!

Thank you so much! ^v^ I’m glad you liked it.

This art style is really creative! The music really suited the story and mood of the game. It was nice to finally play something that wasn’t pixelated. I had issues with collisions however, especially in the third level where the fan was introduced. Level design was great as well, although I think the difficulty spiked a little too early into the game (but that’s just my opinion). Full style points from me!
