This was such a lovely bittersweet experience, the cozy visuals balance out the sombre narrative really well. I really enjoyed playing through this, amazing work!

Very interesting concept, i’m struggling a bit to see how it fits into the theme exactly but it has potential! I enjoy the setting and premise for the actual game and it’d be interesting to see how you’d expand on it! Neat motivational text at the end, good food for thought actually. :)

This was super fun, I loved seeing an RPGMaker game in here! I have a deeper appreciation of them after having messed around in the engine, it can be trickier than people realise, but you’ve done an awesome job! Super intriguing story, the dialogue could use some polish but overall a pretty neat game concept!

This was a wonderful little game! Using yourself as a stepping stone for platforming is super fun and while I struggled it was super rewarding to get to the end! I haven’t played many games where the z key is jump and it did feel uncomfortable having to press that and the x key because they are so close together but I got used to it as I played more.

Awesome job, super cute style and genuinely fun gameplay! :D

I really enjoyed the concept for both of these prototypes! The style you went with for both fit the vibes of each game really nicely, I love Gummi and the monster chasing them, those designs are delightful and the levels were fun! I couldn’t beat it since the monster just kept catching me but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I enjoy the cutesy games secretly being horror games trend right now so I really liked puppington despite it being buggy, I think if you expanded on that one a longer set up and more subtlety with the horror imagery/making it match the cutesy style more would help a lot!

Overall super solid work and i’d be excited to see either or both of these polished up in the future! :D

Honestly this is pretty good for only one dev, I like the premise of it a lot. The character controller is very slide-y and it felt like I didn’t have very good control of the little guy but that’d be an easy fix if you polished this up in the future.

I do enjoy the gameplay loop of going through a door and doing the specific action required! I feel for the chests it would be better if as soon as you open one that leads to a door it locks off the other chests that open the other doors, otherwise it feels like there’s no real reason for the choice to choose in the first place? I found with the interactions with the skulls and bones I had to be running into/over them to pick them up and then running into the front of the pedestals to place them which felt really janky, so if you’re doing that with collisions even just making the collision boxes bigger could probably help with that.

There’s tons of potential here for this to be a fun puzzle game though overall and it’d be interesting to see how you expand on it if you choose to! :)

This is so cute, I only played the jam so far but wow this has a lot of potential! The character designs are really nice, and the animations are really well done! Seeing Bjorn’s split open head through the textbox caught me so off guard I couldn’t help but laugh, I love the juxtaposition of cute, silly character accidentally committing atrocities, it’s so good. The dialogue was bit clunky to click through and felt a bit slow and the fade out transitions felt a bit slow as well, I think if you sped them up just a bit would that would help with that.

I don’t know if there’s more past giving the kid the cookies because I could interact with him again after our skull buddy finished speaking and his dialogue replayed while it was fading to black and then I was just stuck on a black screen, so I might have found a bug but i’m not sure!

Overall super cool concept and i’ll definitely be playing the updated version later!

I really enjoyed that, the art style you’ve gone with is super cute, I love the player model and the environment! The gameplay is super fun, I had a lot of fun sneaking through the graveyard and digging stuff up, the flavour text for each item was simple and sweet and wove a nice narrative between everything!

I think if you were to continue this in the future it would be cool to have levels that ramp up the difficulty or have some linear narrative going on through them. For difficulty you could add groundskeepers/security or grieving family members that can catch you in the act. For narrative I think having different NPC’s in the scene you can talk with and unravel a secondary plot could be really interesting!

Overall super solid work, would love to see you polish this up in the future!

I am super intrigued by this concept, the character designs look really interesting and those pixel sprites look awesome!! I cannot wait to see where you take this if you choose to continue working on it and polish it up, this looks like it’ll have really fun gameplay and a fun plot!

Great work for the amount of time you had! :D

I think this is a really cool concept, the art style you went with is really unique and aesthetically very pleasing. The way you interpreted the theme also is spot on! I find it really fun that you can use your previous lives to navigate over the obstacles, i’d love to see this expanded with some more fleshed out levels! Really awesome work given the timeframe!!

That beginning part of entering a name was a ton of fun, my dreams of an obnoxious noble name were crushed but CyanCorvus9 will reign supreme. I really love simon says games too so I really enjoyed that part, I didn’t get past it but i’ll definitely be giving it another go later!

Awesome job with what you’ve achieved here given the time limit! :)

It is crazy to me how polished this is! Super fun gameplay and is spot on for the theme! The music, sound effects, animations, everything, is just incredible and works seamlessly together. I've  only gotten up to level 6 so far since I'm notoriously bad at puzzle platformers but I WANT to keep playing, which I think speaks to what an awesome job your team has done here.

Can’t wait to play more tomorrow and hopefully get past level 6, great work on this! :D

Pleasantly surprised to hear voice acting, that was super cool, and the music was a vibe as well! I will say I was staring at a black screen for a bit after the narration stopped since I thought it would just fade into a different screen, if you work on this further I would suggest either having the text automatically play along with the narration or have the narration activated as you click through the text.

I love the art, I think the MC is so cute, her outfit rocks and her little rabbit friend in Dead Mode is adorable! The purple tint to the environment is such a nice touch and ties into the MC really well. I think it would be cool to see a more visible shift between Dead Mode and Alive Mode, the halo and wings are awesome but maybe making the environment darker and giving her a subtle glow would help differentiate the modes a bit more!

Overall though this was a really interesting concept and I’d love to see this expanded and polished, i’m extremely curious about the story and the gameplay has lots of potential!! ovo/

First off I love the art style, it is super cute and I think you fit the theme really well with the narrative! The music fit extremely well too and was super fun. What you've managed to do in the timeframe is super impressive! I will say on my first few tries I was super lost when it came to gameplay and what I was supposed to do. I think for the future even a simple explanation of controls in the description would be a big help!

That said, when I did figure it out I enjoyed it! I love tower defense games and this has tons of potential. If you were to continue working on this I'd suggest shrinking the particles or playing with the transparency as they got very overwhelming and intrusive very quickly. The only 'bugs' (haha) I encountered were the music cutting off and the game just freezing at some point, otherwise a pretty smooth experience!

Overall this was super solid, I would be excited to see a polished version of this in the future! :D

I LOVE the set up for this comic, the world already feels so alive and i'm so eager to learn more about it and see what happens to the characters!! And the concept art is so incredible thank you for including it at the end!!! I love seeing behind the scenes and character/environment design process' for comics!! 💜💜

(Sorry for the notif spam I'm not used to itch yet!!)

This issue was so good oh my goodness, I love Ember he is trying so hard to be a good dad!! I also love how you did the exposition through Mitzy, the visuals accompanying it are so gorgeous too!! The balance of the three character storylines is done so well and I am already so hooked on this plot!

This is amazing! Lovely, fun narrative with adorable visuals!! I kept replaying to see if I could find all the different endings, it was a ton of fun! :D

Really liked the first bit of playing, the scaling and different mechanics that came with each size was fun but the platforming was pretty brutal and I'm not a very patient player, but otherwise really loved the mechanics and premise! Sound design was pretty good too!

I really enjoyed the mechanics of building the level, the style and premise is super cute. Having to completely start over if I missed a jump was a bit painful though, would have loved to just be able to 'restart' with the platforms I put down still in place.  Overall really cute game!

Honestly love everything about this, the atmosphere created by the sound design and artstyle is so immersive and the mechanics are so much fun! I loved playing around with it until I got it right and the sound design for the grabbing and placing the factors was super satisfying, 11/10 awesome game!

Super cool and fun, I enjoyed testing out the mechanics and figuring out some of them along the way! Did have some trouble with the jumps that included standing on the boxes and scaling them but that's probably just a skill issue on my end lol Really cute style too I love the lil guy and companion cubes!

Forgot how bad I am at rhythm games lol This was fun, my brain's not built for that many controls to focus on at once but the music, art and premise are all super fun! The tutorial also got a chuckle outta me, really good work!

This is pretty cute! I really like the premise and after getting used tot he controls and managing my resources and figuring out when to split the stem it was really fun! Started getting real laggy the higher I got and the more I did split my stems though, but aside from that really enjoyed this!

This is so much fun! I accidentally exited on lvl5 but I was having tons of fun and finishing a level felt super rewarding! 11/10 a very solid puzzle game!

This was awesome! I really love underwater games and this was a fun experience, I kept dying and only got up to collecting 24 of the lil doods but I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the artstyle is really cool!!

Confused? Incredibly. Enjoying watching lil bugs workout? Tremendously! Evolving them at the end was funny too, really enjoyed this honestly!

This was so cute and creative I absolutely loved this! The music is fun the art is adorable and after getting a hang of the controls it was super fun trying to beat my time, the best I could get was around 39:828!! Awesome lil game!

im so proud of our lil guy!! ovo/
