Yes, the topic of movement has been discussed frequently, but it's even more effective this way. It's always beneficial to heed criticism. Now, my friend and I are planning to create a new game. We'll begin from scratch, rewriting all the management systems because the previous project was rushed and filled with unnecessary elements and lines of code. By the way, about the maze... It's actually quite small. The perception of its size is largely due to the movement speed. If we increase the speed, many players would struggle, and the game would feel different.

Yes, I understand, I was confused sometimes, I almost made smooth turns, but something didn't work in them, I scored and flew to sleep, and the next day I still didn't figure it out.

I wanted to add a monster, but it didn't work out... and I wanted to make the movement by pressing the key, but everything was broken.

I wanted to make it possible to hold down the movement button, but it didn't work out.

I tried to add some kind of screamer, but nothing worked for me, now my friend and I are creating a game, it will be somewhat similar to this one, we will try to add a monster there.

I'll try again tomorrow, I just have to use a VPN in order for the site to load in principle, besides, I'm sick now and it's hard for me to sit at the computer and evaluate other games, I hope tomorrow it will be easier for me and I will be able to evaluate at least 10 games normally.

My friend said the same thing when he tested this game, after that I tried to do it, but it didn't work out, I freaked out and decided to leave it that way, now I want to make a game with this friend that will be similar to this one, where I will try to implement normal movement

the game didn't load, I won't spoil the rating, I won't rate

I've uploaded a ready-made version, you can test it

It was just a test version to see if it would work in the browser. This is a game for game jam, and I'll finish it and post it soon. I hope you'll visit it again.
