This is a great game! I love the idea of taking care of entities while also trying to find the door code. The note system is a really neat idea and the encyclopedia is really cool. The visuals are great I love the art style and the atmosphere. 6 Badges to earn and 2 modes this game jam game is a full experience!
This is a really great entry! The art is great and the game itself feels very polished. I love the concept of combining an optimization factory builder with a fast paced timed minigame section. The dialogue is funny and the gameplay loop is satisfying. I would love to see this expanded upon when the jam is over with some more QOL and level mechanics!
Really cool game, felt like a mix of Catan and Risk! A board game as a jam submission isn’t something I’ve ever seen before this is super unique and fun. The ability to sacrifice units for buffs is also a really cool mechanic and the little voices are really charming! As people have mentioned, an in-game tutorial and maybe some tooltips would go a long way but other than that this is a great entry!
Really incredible entry! The visuals are absolutely stunning like I spent some time just fawning over the style of the UI and characters. Really really incredible visual style! The gameplay itself is also very interesting as someone already mentioned papers please but for mimics is a very novel idea. No bugs aside from the mimic sprite for the quest which was mentioned. Overall an extremely polished and stunning submission!
This game is one of the best entries I’ve played for real. It’s extremely polished, the little clang an enemy makes when they die is so satisfying, the gameplay loop is easy to understand but doesn’t get repetitive, the upgrades are funny and interesting, its oozing with silliness and personality, and it even has unlockables. This is a fantastic entry. The only thing is maybe add a little more enemy variety. Cheeso my beloved.
The art style is so cute and the mood and atmosphere are great! When I saw drawing spells with the mouse I got a little scared as it can be a little finicky sometimes but I can honestly say I didn’t come across any issues. There are some really good ideas in here. Like the attack spell also being able to be used defensively or needing to switch between water and attack are just cool little bits of game design. I would genuinely love to see this as a full version with some sound, animations, and a less slippery character. Amazing Job!
