I think I know now why it does that, try going fullscreen using F11 with the WebGL version, for me it works at least on level 30. 

The issue is because of overlapping UI layers and it seems to block raycasts to the grid buttons, and the proper fullscreen layout has room for the entire grid at all times.

Blown away by how good this is! Gameplay was innovative and got me hooked, presentation was solid audiovisually, and you even got a level editor and leaderboards in! Amazing work!

The gameplay was fun once you got the hang of it, victory felt satisfying, the game had a good difficulty level.

Personally, I would like the camera to be further away to see more of the level and the enemies, and to also have some kind of dash or defensive mechanic to avoid damage. Good job!

Very neat idea and it was executed well. Level design was also on point. The music loop started to become a bit grating after a while.
