I like this a lot. It has that sweet 16 bit look and sound. Game is really fun to play and UI is intuitive to use. Best use of Picotron i've seen on Itch so far.

This was awesome. The voice acting.  The music. The noise. I couldn't figure out how to send any money away, but it was fun anyway.

I found the click sound to be quite satisfying.

For an Idle clicker, this one was fairly complex and somewhat interesting.

Wow, it's quite hypnotic!

Cute and fast paced. My only gripe is that the up key is used to jump, instead of X.

Kudos for writing it in python! On my old laptop, the web version it's a bit slow, so I this the Linux version and I found a bug in it: it looks for the audio files without the .wav extension.  So I had to rename the files to get it to run.

Wow, this is a complex and original game. Part shooter, part tower defense. Look great with the atmospheric lighting.

I have no idea what I was doing, but I'm pretty sure that's how it works in real life.

The art is amazing! You can't die in the game?

Wow, this is awesome! Got everything, the music, graphics, game-play, polish! Didn't get far in the game, but that's me.

Really enjoyed the weirdness of this Galaga-like. The main menu is great!

Scary as hell.

Cool concept! I would love to see more levels, more stuff to discover.

Short but sweet arcade! I like that you made an intro animation. It all fits together really well.

Fun game! And really polished for a weekend jam.

Your story about perfectionism getting in the way and not  finishing / abandoning projects is very recognizable.   I think it's great that you just went with "something "good enough and just submitted it. The way forward is always in small steps. This game clearly isn't finished, but it has a lot of potential.  It did take em a while to figure out what to do, so a bit more explanation for the new  player would be a good place to start.

Simple gameplay, but I like the little details, the posters, the faces in the widows.

Thank you for your praise! I didn't spend much time on the thumbnail image or textures, because getting a minimal playable game with a few levels, was my priority. But you're right, it's not a very attractive image, and I wasn't very happy with it when I made it. I considered using an AI generated image but I don't really like to do that. Next time, i'll give it some more thought. Or find someone to join me who can do graphics better than I can.

The jump mechanic needs improvement. If you walk back a bit and then jump while working forwards, it works better. When you've jumped and you are in the air, you can't accelerate forwards.

Hmm, I did and did not understand the game. Well at first I did not but eventually I did, but it took me a while.  I like the idea of using superposition, and of course the box must be closed for the cat to be in superposition otherwise the wave function will collapse, everyone knows that :-)  But I needed a bit more instruction to  understand how the torches are affected and the activation of the exit. The visual difference between the active/inactive state of the exit is also not very clear.  Still, a really cool concept.

The style and atmosphere are quite nice, i liked it. I couldn't figure out what to do at first, because clicking on the box didn't work. But going full screen, it did work. Probably a browser compatibility problem (Firefox 140 on Ubuntu).  I ended up being thrown into in a box for my heresy.

I really love the morbid theme and gorgeous art.  I did not like not being able to take things out of the box and repack them. Maybe it would have made the game too easy? But the limitation feels a bit forced.

Great game! The puzzles are fun and the graphics style and music work well together to give it a relaxing and oriental vibe.  Only gripe I have is I don't quite understand when  you turn dark blue / light blue. Sometimes you stay dark for longer, sometimes shorter. Is it just different in different areas of a level?

It's quite impressive what AI can whip up. It's a really decent game and looks and sounds great.  I do find it hard to rate though. You obviously did a good job guiding the AI. And with a professional team(and you as designer/manager) something like this could probably be put together in 72 hours, which is not against the rules or even the spirit of the jam. So I'll rate it high, but with mixed feelings. As for the game itself: One thing I missed is an explanation of the symbols for the trees defenses against different attacks. Or is guessing the immunities intended as part of the game?

That was fun, releasing my rage on a box :-).  I suppose its basically a clicker (meh), but a better once, with physics (yay). I like the textures; simple but effective and humorous.

Wow, that's great for a first release! It looks good, nice music, and fun gameplay. I really love the animation of the character's eyes and hood lowering before the jump. I did notice a bug that the screen changes ended up where I could not see the player character. But apart from the bug, not smoothly scrolling the screen is an interesting design choice, and  I can see how it adds an element of surprise to the game, so I like that. Also, a safety net below the harder jumps would be nice, so you don't fall down too far, because I suck. Overal, great job!

The artwork looks amazing. But I did really miss that there are no visual clues that correspond with the text clues. There's no reason to walk around the image, since it's not really related to the puzzle. A complete text based interface would have been just as effective. That said, I do like the concept of having to remember the clues and solve the case  in your head.

Cool detective mystery! The cut scene is well done, really got me in to the story.  I got the killer, yeah, satisfying.

I love the idea of "feeling" objects by weighing and shaking. Those senses aren't normally in video games. It would be fun to add smell, taste, etc.  Really fun game!

I'm terrible at bullet-hell, but I like how the game looks and sounds. Nice clean start screen.  I love the tiny animation of the computer screen before the first  level starts. Too bad the buttons are broken, hope you can fix it soon!

Beautiful graphics design and color, lovely music. Very surprising end! I wish there was more ways to play and continue.

Nice short puzzle game. I love the art and music.

Nice job on the 3d models!

Nice game! I like the time travel maze concept, and the game's got basic but nice graphics, sound, music. Great job.

Those 1000 just years flew by. But I beat the serpent, eventually, hah!

Funny stuff. Reminded me a bit of Slay the Princess (but a lot smaller and without the graphics and voice over of course).

Good job on your first game!

I think I know what's going on. When the message is shown, time slows down to 1 day/second, to give the player time to read and react. So it seems that distance and  speed are stuck, but they're just changing very slowly.  And while the ship  is turning around, you can't use the engines (because that would steer the ship off course). I should probably make that clearer.

Cool game! Very smooth, speedy action. Graphics, music and sound effects really bring it alive.

Fun interpretation of the theme! Not much game play. I just randomly hit the ASD keys. Idea: make it so you wiggle upwards if you use the wrong key at the wrong time?  I liked the choice of music (no loop?) and good looking pixel graphics.
