Haha, bem bacana a ideia, mas bem difícil. Achei que quando amanhecesse os morcegos iriam embora haha.
Acho que tá com um bug quando o player morre, o jogo não acaba, aí não tem como recomeçar.
That's an awesome game! I had lots of fun playing it. It took me some time to get better at the controls and still couldn't master it, but I'll try harder :D
If you're going to continue building it, some cool features would be different enemy colors maybe providing different kinds of bases (like removing damage) and of course different kinds of threats. And this with competitive multiplayer would be insane :D
Awesome concept and a really interesting game with lots of potential if you want to keep improving it.
Sometimes it seems screen panning stops to work and than starts again. Not sure if it's related with how fast I move the mouse tho. And one suggestion is to be able to see the tile effect area on hover or click the same way it's shown before positioning.
Congrats!
Nice idea and game! I had some hard time figuring out why some items could be interacted with until I saw the fuse box. Also, it would be nice if in a future version you add some indicator on the kids when their fun is about to drop so we could address that one faster.
Now...I couldn't help imagining a co-op version in a Overcooked style...."Heyy..throw me the fuse..." :D
My main learning from this jam was to pivot and cut scope as soon as possible and accept what I had to complete it. Per example, I don't like how my game looks in terms of lighting but I knew I'd spent a lot of hours trying to fix whatever I had and put it on the side.
Other examples of scope I cut were split screen and web build. For web build, I understand it has a lot of impact on views and plays from other participants but I also knew I'd certainly got caught in fixing issues there instead of just completing a full game cycle.
Congrats on the accomplishment. Seems a lot for only 48h. As other comments mentioned, it seems UI can be improved to be more clean and easy to find the information you need while choosing what to build next.
Another point that made me struggle a bit is how to zoom in and out. I believe it would be nice to use the scrolling wheel instead of some specific movement while holding the right button since it's more intuitive.
