Hey everyone,
Just submitted my entry: QAQ.
It’s an homage to classic top-down stealth games, but rebuilt for the modern web using Godot 4.
To fit the 20-second theme, I created "FAF Mode" (Fast As F*** Mode). You drop into 3 preset facilities and have exactly 20 seconds to infiltrate, secure the objective, and extract. It's high-octane stealth where hesitancy gets you caught.
It was fun trying to cram stealth mechanics like wall-hugging and CQC takedowns nto such a tight timeframe over the weekend.
Audio is not in the web version. Full version has basic sounds but no soundtrack, so I'd love to team with someone who can provide that if any takers?
Give it a quick run (it only takes 20 seconds!) and let me know what you think of the game loop. Good luck to everyone else finishing up!
I will try to update it more between now and the close, unfortunately real life limits my dev time. If this gets enough interest, I'll release the full early access version with access to all modes and the second playable character. (Just some minor bug fixes and mobile compatibility, which I can likely do next weekend) Just let me know!
Hey everyone! Just another creative soul making weird games and looking for community.
I'm Clayton — aspiring game and AI dev, lifelong storyteller, and the brain behind PrettyNerdee, the delightful dual output I've developed. (Lucky me gets to be neurodivergent, with bipolar traits)
I'm currently working on a few projects, (Unsurprisingly) ranging from a narrative-driven mental health game in Godot to a full-on ARPG in Unreal Engine with a chaos-faction combat system. Bit of a mad mix, but that’s how I like it. I've been building these things in my head for years, finally got to building them!
I joined Itch because I wanted to get more involved in the indie scene — not just posting my own stuff, but actually meeting people, learning from others, and maybe even collaborating down the line. I’m always up for chatting design, dev struggles, weird mechanics, or just hanging out.
I'm vibe coding at the moment while i try to self teach. though it does reduce the strain of having so much on at once.
Would i love to reduce my workload? Absolutely!
Would I simply replace the shelved projects with another? Also..... absolutely....
So, what are you working on? Got something weird? Thought-provoking? Unfinished and held together with duct tape? I’m all in.
Let’s be pals 👾
