Such a cool game. The atmosphere and art style are really on point. I was tense the whole run and expected a jump scare right up to the very last second. Great job!

Cool art style! I wasn't expecting a visual novel in this game jam. It was a bit short, but a cool idea nonetheless.

Amazing game! It has everything needed for a 20s game. It's so entertaining and just makes you wanna play more and optimize your score. Amazing job!

Such a creative idea! This concept blew my mind :o

Really cool idea! I'm impressed by how you manage to fit it in the 20s window, great job!

This game evokes so much nostalgia—it takes me back to classics like Chicken Invaders. You really nailed the art style and the overall vibe. Great job!

Interesting correlation. Yes, it can be pretty rough solving the puzzles in time, but thank you for still trying it out! :D

Yes, it can be a bit daunting. The 20-second restriction is really rough 😅

Nonetheless, thank you so much for trying it out!

Thank you so much for trying it out and for your kind words :D

Very immersive, it keeps you on your toes. Didn't strictly follow the requirements of the jam, but it was still within the 20-second theme. I really enjoyed it.

Such a cozy, little, satisfying game. It felt a bit repetitive at some point, so maybe if you take the idea further, it would be cool to add some additional mechanics. But the art style and the gameplay felt so rewarding  😍

Really cool idea. It was very annoying at first, and I had to disable the timer in order to figure the puzzle out, but once I did, the game felt really rewarding. Good job!

Such a creative masterpiece. You guys did an amazing job when it comes to character design and the general art direction of the game. I couldn't stop playing until I discovered all of them 😍

Simple and enjoyable clicker game, good job! =))

Really fun idea. It was a bit hard to memorize the apartment numbers at first, but I really enjoyed smashing the 💩 out of those boxes =)))

Really cool concept—it kept me hooked. It takes a bit of time to get used to the controls, but I really like how smooth they feel overall.

The game is now officially published! 🎉
Sorry for the confusion, and thank you for your patience. There may still be some minor tweaks to the submission, but this version is essentially final. Give it a try and let us know what you think! 😁

Hi everyone! Sorry for the confusion — the game still needs a few final touch-ups, so we intentionally set the page to restricted. It was my mistake to submit it earlier than planned, and I apologize for that. We’re working on it and will let you know as soon as it’s available.

I really like the artistic direction and the fact that you guys actually did some voice acting for it. It's entertaining, but the whole collision and navigation was a bit too annoying for me, so I was not able to finish the game. Great game, nevertheless, it has a lot of potential! <3

Yes, there's definitely room for improvement. Thank you so much for trying it out and giving us feedback! ^^

Glad to hear that, thank you for trying out our game! :)

Such a cool and complex game, I really liked it. It's my favorite so far. It has horror elements, it has a story, animations and sound design are on point, and everything is in general so uncanny. Good job!

Simple yet entertaining concept! I had fun, and I like the aesthetics a lot.

Thank you so much for testing our game out! I agree, visibility isn't the strong suit of this game. We initially wanted to do it isometric, but we ended up having an isometric design with a fixed perspective camera 🥲

Such a simple, yet stunning game! Visuals and art is amazing, from font, animations, characters, music. I really enjoyed playing it <3

Thank you!

Thank you so much for testing it out! Sorry if the gameplay is not very intuitive yet 😅 Yes, you need to use the capturing pentagram indeed, and it has an activation time of 2 seconds (indicated by the VFX animation), so you can't abuse it. You can also check your journal; there is the Loadout page, which offers more details about what each tool does. But thank you again for trying it out and leaving this feedback. Much appreciated! 🙏

Such a cool game! It reminded me a lot of the original Slender Man game. I got such a nostalgic feeling from it. Really well done, the pages and upgrades concept is well-rounded, I like the static interference visual cue when the monster is nearby, and just waiting for that hatch to happen makes me feel so god damn anxious. Congrats! 😁

Stunning visuals and atmosphere, unfortunately, I was not able to solve the puzzle, since I’m a scardy cat, but I feel like the story so far has a lot of profundity to it. Knowing that the Deer thing approaches every time I’m looking away makes me so anxious 😭 Maybe, the only technical remark would be the cursor speed, for me it felt a bit too slow, but maybe that was intentional 🤔

Really creepy. Makes you feel really helpless at first, and once you try it again and again, you feel the power and the bloodlust that originates from your decisions. I’m in general not a big fan of visual novels, but this one I liked. I especially liked the allegorical side of it, and the fact that you could always retry it with different options. On the technical side, I think the scenes are a bit flaky, with characters disappearing sometimes randomly, but the general look and feel of the game is on point. Congrats! 🤩

Also, do you have any recommendations for creating visual novels in Godot? I’m curious about what plug-ins/tools you used for it.

This game mainly revolves around learning the architecture of the house and navigating the character in time at the right doors. Since I’m really bad with directions, it felt pretty difficult for me. But really interesting concept. I like how you brought such a simple idea to life, and in general, the artistic direction of this game is really cool. The character controller and the camera angles are a bit confusing at first, but you slowly get used to them. I’m really curious how it ends. 😭 Btw, badass game over animation =))

Amazing! I felt like an uncultured swine, for not understanding the musical terminology, but it was stikll enjoyable. The music, the atmosphere, the characters, and the dark twist of the story, pure cinema! ❤️

Thank you so much for testing our game out, and for your detailed gameplay experience feedback,  it helps a lot. Yes, there's definetly room for improvement, and the approach we went for wasn't necessary a very horror, over the top one.

Thank you for testing it out! Yes, there's definitely room for improvement. 😁

Very simple yet fun to play. Congrats on bringing to life such a simple but entertaining concept! 😊

Cool looking game, fits the theme perfectly, and it's actually pretty scary. The sound design and aesthetics are a huge strong point. I really like the minimalist approach. The only complaint would be on the usability side, as controls are a bit unconventional. I had to spend a lot of time getting out of the parking lot (maybe a safe-zone area at the start of the map would be helpful, or a setup time), and you are not able to skip the ending and the beginning scenes, which take a lot of time if you just want to try it over and over again. But the fact that you are now allowed to make any noises, and you need to be very careful with every decision that you make, really adds to the spookiness and anxiousness that this game makes you feel. Congratulations! 🤩

I've not managed to escape 😭
Interesting concept tho, very minimal but still enjoyable, congrats!

Thank you for testing our game :)

Yes, that was kind of our intent. How did you find the gameplay experience? Too boring? Not intuitive enough, or?

Such a cool game! I really liked that you could also drag the cubes, this is a mechanic that should be implemented in more puzzle games imho. Moreover, I found the "changing brightness" mechanic very creative. I would've loved to see the "change resolution" mechanic being used as well, but given the time constraints of a game jam, I know how hard it is to design all sorts of puzzles and levels. Great job!

Thank you so much for trying out our game and for your inspirational feedback. We are indeed brainstorming on how to improve the gameplay experience, with the hooking mechanic and baits being on the list. Glad you enjoyed it though! :D
