Are Itch-io Payments Broken?

Hey Itch staff, first of all I've been in support of your company/community for years.
But the last 6-8 Months, every single payment has taken longer than 25+ Days (After moderation)

So on average with moderation I wait 30-45 days until I see any money. This used the to take 14-17 days.
It's gotten 2-3x worse for a lot of users. I assume a lot of people from non US countries like me are just being ignored.

And in honesty America/California is the greediest f#@$ing economic cult I've ever experienced, after they get their cut and I pay all my foreign taxes I lose about 40% of my sales. ( 5% going to itch)

Please tell me how I'm supposed to treat this like a business if I have no idea about the consistency or timeline of transactions?

Kind Regards River, no hate on the support team <3 . Management you are failing miserably though, get it together.

I would not personally qualify a 35+ day delayed payment as "Idea's & Feedback", more a "Critical Failure".
But on that note can you please get someone at Itch's Payment Processing to contact me? If this is something I could help make easier on the banking side I would love to help, but I don't know what more I could do?

The rules of Questions & Support answer at least some of your questions.

Have you considered switching to direct payments?
I always did that and obviously never had that problem.
So you have your money, and I suppose it's less of a burden for itch.

I understand what you are saying, but as I mentioned in the post the taxing on non-US accounts is insane.
Like I said I average 35%-45% loss on each transaction, if I did payment per individual sale that loss would be intensified.

Also I think to refer to Itch staff doing their job, as a "burden"? Is a stretch.

I wouldn't have made a post if this wasn't a recurring issue for 8+ months (even pre-censorship)
And Itch has never got back to me once on any of my tickets, I've even switched to Payoneer to try a different payment processor.

The problem still prevails, showing the issue is on Itch's ability to moderate payments efficiently as the website/company has grown.
Look on Reddit now, their are devs that haven't been paid for 120+ days, not a handful, hundreds...

I appreciate the counter-point, but I've really practiced as much patience as I can for Itch.
They need to figure out their issues. But I'm glad you haven't had any payment issues of late :)
