Scammers sending viruses

This isn't the first time I've seen accounts appear under certain games that claim to share "updates" with a Patreon link. Don't fall for it, it's a virus. Here are some screenshots from one of the games. This is not the only post like this.

Thanks for the warning

Bot accounts have been posting these more and more in the comments of my games and it's getting frustrating reporting and deleting the comments. I hope the itch team finds a way to stop this in the future!

I hope so too and there have been too many of them lately.

I’ve been seeing the same wave of fake “update” accounts popping up, and it’s honestly getting tiring. The pattern is always identical — a random profile shows up under a game, drops a sketchy link, and hopes someone clicks without thinking. Reporting helps, but I really hope the moderation tools get tightened because these bots are getting bolder every week.
