[Writing][2D Art][Unpaid] Looking for an obscure project to create a story for (en/ru), 2D art as a bonus

I'm a big fan of obscure & weird indie projects with unique vibes and ideas, and most of all I appreciate deep (but not boring) storytelling dealing with characters' psychology, so I'm here mostly to try writing & storytelling. As a bonus I can also draw some 2D stuff or generally help with the visual part. Another bonus is If anything goes very wrong I can code too (as a professional programmer), but that's not what I want to do here, and I don't have experience with game engines, so don't expect much code from me x)

It's not a make-a-game-to-earn-money type of interest I have, it's more like a create-something-new one, so I don't expect anyone professional, and yeah it might sound silly, but I want to cooperate with other enthusiasts whose main goal is not money but game as art.

The games I consider to weird and unique enough: The Case of the Golden Idol, IndikaDisco Elysium, Signalis, No I'm not a human, Animal Well, Papers please... As you can see, there is only one game with realistic graphics, and I believe that their visual style (in both 2D and 3D) does a lot for creating this "unique vibe" I'm looking for. I've been drawing for many years, previously I made art for the GMTK Game Jam, and you can see more examples of my work at the end of this message and even more here.

The game with the best psychological story in my opinion: surprisingly Silent Hill 2, hehe. I don't want to limit myself with one genre, the only requirement I have is that it should be dark & deep & psychological, but that doesn't mean I prefer horrors (usually I don't like them, actually), it can be pretty much anything: from a puzzle to a shooter.

I haven't made a plot for a game before, but I translate from English to Russian as a hobby and have tried to write fiction, but I like the medium of weird games more and that's why I'm here. I'm not sure my experience with the usual text can help here, but at least I can put words into sentences and I'm quite confident in my ability to generate coherent stories :)

Ideally I would like to find a team with a programmer and 2D/3D artist who appreciate the same deep stories as me and want to have one in their game but at the same time want to focus on other things instead. I don't want to make a conventionally "cool" game, I want to make a unique game, maybe even controversial (controversial is always better than dull), and have fun making it.

(I'm 27yo btw and would prefer to join people around my age.)

If you like my approach, feel free to send a message in Discord @gaurtzer or Telegram @il_cringo (I don't bite (I promise)).

Some of my drawings (yeah I do like portraits):
