This is awesome! I like how high the skill ceiling is here. There's a bit of risk/reward in there too in trying to figure out who to serve on the fly. Overall cool concept and very well executed! My best score was 110

I felt like I was Brewster for a moment! Loved it <3

I just noticed a small issue with the High score, in the same screen it told me I scored 70 but that my high score was 66. Did that meant my previous high-score was 66?

Thanks for making that cozy game :)

Developer

Thank you so much for playing.

I noticed that issue but haven't adressed it yet. When the time is up your high score is what is registered until the buzzer, though if you shoot a coffee right before the the time is up, followed by hitting a customer after the time is up, it still gives you points into your score counter. That's why a mismatch happens during the Game Over screen for some players.

Super cute game, I loved the graphics! Didn't come close to your high-score but was enjoyable anyway. At the beginning I thought that you could only spawn coffees when your character was adjacent to the coffees on the table (I have no idea why)? But then I realized you can shoot it anywhere. It would be cool if you could "stack" a bunch of coffees (as in brew several back to back and then shoot all of them). Great job :)

This is so cute! I love it!

So clever. Lovely graphics.  Deceptively difficult.  Proves I'd make a lousy barista.

Really good job. I apparently suck and came nowhere near 140 points.

Adorable pixel art. Gameplay mechanic is simple yet enjoyable and fun. Did 76 points, and I need to practice more to beat your insane 140+ points :D

Cute graphics

The art is so gorgeous! The game is quite challenging, but I didn’t give up on beating your score. I’ll be back!!!

Overcooked in 20 seconds? Serve me. Nice work, very intense!!

Developer(+1)

hahaha thank you, definitely an oversimplified overcooked

I did not beat your high-score, but I did serve up loads of coffee.  This was fun!

Developer

cheers mate

best one we've played from this jam so far, really impressive

Developer

thank you very mucho <3

Short and fun, perfectly fit for the theme of the jam. It took me some rounds to know that I don't need to run up to the table to serve the coffee, and just face my front that direction to slide the coffee to the customer lmao

my highscore is 102! fun simple little game. Feels very clean and polished too with no outstanding issues. The only real thing that bothered me is I wish there was a little more feedback when you make the coffee. Right now it only plays a sound, that's really short and quiet and very easy to miss. I wish there was something visual, maybe a particle or even showing our little bird guy holding a cup.

Developer

Appreciate the feedback mate, will look into that. Thank you for playing 🙏
