Interesting game! Just a little suggestion: you should expand a little bit some of the hitboxes. Sometimes we feel like we hit them but we actually don't.
Visually very polished and interesting - lots of interactive elements, was surprised to see that this is made with RPG Maker. Mouse controls didn't feel very responsive - nuts wouldn't get picked up or fed immediately on click, not sure if it's just my computer or a bug or rpg maker being jank. Still, really well done pushing through all the RM quirks and limitations.
Thank you! I did notice i had different experiences with responsiveness depending on the browser I used to test play this version. In the engine test play it plays very smoothly every time, so i think it's something with the browser version. I had to fix and reupload about 10 times before it played properly in the browser despite being fine in engine.. I was definitely pushing this engine to make something it's not made for, though.
i expected the "crows can be picky" notion to mean if you dont feed them in time, they will change their mind about what the want to eat (maybe another mode?) :)
I liked how you did the different difficulties. I especially enjoyed the hard mode, but thought I was supposed to drag and drop the peanuts at first. Also, any game with birds is a great game in my book :)
i like how the cd player is the volume control, and the duckie's there haha, i'd agree with everyone else that it's a bit hard to understand at first with the belly being the target area. other than that, it's great fun, nice art and sounds!
Neat idea for a game! I had a bit of trouble trying to figure this out. I was able to grab a peanut and I kept trying to jam it in the crow’s mouth. I came back to the submission page and saw someone else’s comment about the belly being the hit area.
Playing with a track pad, I fed 6 crows! Or one crow 6 peanuts…
Thanks for your submission! I hope you had fun making this!
Yes the belly (or bubble on the higher difficulties) is much easier to click than the mouth- something I didn't consider during the games creation, haha. Definitely a hard game with a track pad! I had a lot of fun making it, Thank you for playing!
Cool short game, it looks really polished. Just a small suggestion: the click area for feeding the crows could be a bit bigger. I kept trying to aim for the mouth instead of the belly, but maybe that’s just me. Either way, great work for the jam! <3
You're not wrong about the feeding area, but due to some silly factors it's "pixel-perfect" clicks only for the crows so i cant expand it in a way I'd like, but in med/hard difficulty you can click on the bubble which is easier to aim for! Thank you for the feedback and for playing!!
Great game I like the concept and visually looks great. As it has a slightly dark tone with murder I had to try not feeding any to see what happens.... I feel this was a missed opportunity. I would have been nice if right mouse button dropped the food held as picking up and getting rid of wrong food could have felt more responsive. Just giving some ideas, I enjoyed it a lot.
If you did revisit and try to extend, I would suggest 3-5 slight variations of Crow animation (a hop, overshot landing,, variation bobbles) as this is the main focus.
Awesome art and animations. The ambience is on a next level. The gameplay is simple and straight forward. The duck is the best. The volume control is top-notch :)
Really fun game! The art and game play is beautiful, and straight to the point. I understood the assignment right away. You did such an incredible job! :)

Good job!
Nice game!
I was insistent on tring to feed the rubber ducky a peanut for fun. Appreciate the little quack for silliness.

Nice game. Liked the slight variations according to difficulty
Fun and interesting game! It would be great if you could pet the crow right after you gave it something :D
The little interactable duck is a great addition and I did not regret giving in to my instincts
Really cute. I want a pet crow.

nice game!
Ahh that's a great idea! The feedback I'm receiving makes me want to go back and add a ton of things to this but I must be strong lol. Thank you!
It was actually fun. And duckies are cool. Nice game!
Thanks so much!

Fair! Drag and drop was the original intention but wasn't working quite right so we got this. Thank you!

This is great feedback- You're right on the missed opportunity- I will definitely consider if I dip back into this! Thank you so much!
This looks amazing, I love the palette and minimalist design. Great job!
Thank you!
The game could fit right into Wario Ware :)
Really nice style with art and music!
That's a great compliment! Thank you!

Thank you !! The volume and duck were some last minute additions i had a lot of fun with!

Thanks so much! And thanks for playing!
The art is really polished. I love the differences in the difficulties, and my favorite one is definitely level 3. I love those picky crows!
Ahh thank you, happy to hear it!
