How does the game fit the theme?
The game is all about taking risks to get the biggest payoff. It also just so happens to be heavily focused around the buying and selling of biscuits.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
We did not write the Godot game engine.
We also used (4) sound files from Freesound.org. Each file is licensed under the CC0 license and was used as a layer in an SFX asset rather than as a direct drop in.

Sooooooo funny! Really great spin on the trading concept! I liked interaction with the boss, the notes, the newspaper - it all made the game even more cool and unique
Amazing characters! ^^
Great game with a unique concept! You guys really took the risk factor very seriously, this game is a very fun spin on trading and buying stocks, the visuals are very cute and nostalgic in a sense.
It was very funny to me that 99% of the time the boss gave really bad advice :)
I don't know anything about trading, but this game is very easy to understand, the interface is clear, the addition of the phone with the boss adds to the game's charm, and the characters' designs are very cute!
I made 100x on !CAKE and that's the closest I'll ever feel to being a cryptobro. Once I understood "buy low, sell high", I was unstoppable. Cool game!
Really good game! It could be a good base for a bigger project! As others have mentioned, buying and selling in bulk in one click could be a good feature to add
A fun take on the concept. I noticed that the stocks swing very quickly based on your actions (buy a penny stock and it will rocket up). As such, "Buy 10" "Buy 20" "Buy 100" buttons might have been good additions.
Love the aesthetics and the boppy music. I only have one question.
Those are clearly dogs and not buns...right?
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! Clearly dogs but still somehow buns! What could that mean? Maybe being a bun is more of a state of mind or like general cute-ness?
Really interesting and super neat idea with cohesive visuals that make it stand out in quality. I will say starting out I was a bit overwhelmed and didnt know where to put my focus, but I can imagine getting in a real flow once you've got the hang of it.
Overall great work!
Thanks so much for playing! Glad you enjoyed it.
What a pure representation of what the real stock market is probably all about. And nice touch, that you can turn off the monitor. Makes the life a lot easier! :D
Herzlichen Dank fürs Spielen!
Nice Unique game that works well and fits the theme. Had lots of fun playing.
Interesting game about the stock market. What I learn here, you need really to be fast and reactive :D
Interruptions are annoying when you try to concentrate on your next trade. *haha*
This is fantastic, I understand how the stock market works now. I got $21,800 on my first day. Time to retire.
I’m glad you enjoyed the game and congrats on achieving “the dream”! :D
It's nice, got to learn bout the stock, :>I also like the call interruption from boss. It adds up spice to the gameplay.
Stock Market and Dogs, Killer music and great visuals. You guys did a great job and I loved to play the game and made 16,000 on the day 1. This was a really great idea and you guys knocked it out of the park with this.
Pro Stonkin! Thanks for playing and thanks for the kind words!
Hey that's a cool game, even though I did read the tutorial, the game is so intuitive that I didn't need to read it. Felt like The Wolf of Wall Street. Good job!
Awesome! We thought a lot about the design and how to keep it as straightforward as possible and it sounds like that paid off.
I’m glad you enjoyed it!
I'm disappointed you didn't write the game engine, but I really enjoyed your game! Your take on the theme is spot on! Cute characters too ❤️
Hah! We thought about trying to write an entire engine inside of a week, but then we realized that neither of us actually know how to do that.
I’m so glad you enjoyed it anyway! :D
Welcome to Risky Biscuits Stonks Accomplices LLB, where the only person who loves insider trading more than you is your ID10T boss. First attempt I was overwhelmed by 6 Biscuit $tonk tickers moving at the speed of sound. My boss called me babbling about aliens or something and told me to buy, and I lost all my money in the first minute. Second attempt, I discovered that it takes about 12 stocks to wildly swing the market, so I picked a low one, sunk my money into it to boost it to the moon and then sold which crashed it faster than Elon's rockets. Did that all day from about $21K profit. Then I realized my boss was stupid,. So day 2, I left my phone ringing the entire day 10/10
Only thing confusing me was I couldn't find /wsb to get advice.
Really enjoyed trying it out! I'll take my new found knowledge of stonks into the real world and go for early retirement.
