How does the game fit the theme?
The deeper and bolder you explore the dungeons, the more loot and opportunities you gain.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
For the jam, we used ready-made Unity assets for the character controller, bakery environment, and dungeon environments. Dungeon props were taken from Sketchfab, and UI elements were from Medieval Frame Vectors by Vecteezy.

Played this for about 30 minutes.  Definitely coming back to play some more.  Everything looks good.  I like the sneak animation.  The death animation caught me off guard and made me chuckle a bit.  Music fit well.  Did not experience any bugs at all.  The only gripe I have is not always being able to see into the next room very well.  On more than one occasion I carefully looked through the open door and though the coast was clear, but it wasn't.  So I got to see the death animation again.  Great job!

I found this game because you posted in the "very long rate for rate" post.  My downloadable has also been struggling to get ratings.  I am hoping you can give it a try.  Thanks!

Aw, glad you enjoyed it! I’ll definitely keep the visibility issue in mind. By the way, I just played your game too, left a review, and really enjoyed it! ^ ^

Hello, an interesting game with nice atmosphere.   I was confused about the jump, because I could jump only in the room before the bakery and nowhere else. Also what is the door where you have to pay 15 cookies that brings you to start again? I ended up collecting the cookies  in the closest room and running back to the bakery.

Overall a good submission, congratulations!

Developer

Tysm for playing our game and for the feedback! When you buy access to the next level the dungeon changes and becomes a bit trickier but the reward is sweeter too ✨

I'm really impressed by this game! It's a really nice touch the fact that the mouse is looking at the (Computer) mouse at the menu. And the visuals of the game in general are great! It follows the theme in a great way and it truly feels like taking a risk to find biscuits.

Really good job!

Cool game but I think with an infinite inventory space from the very beginning it would increase the tension a lot as you always have the choice to go back or to risk it all and continue. Still those stamps bring back FNAF instincts in me and that kill animation makes me feel so sad for the mouse :(

Developer

Thanks for playing our game! We're planning to increase the inventory size and rebalance the prices

Took a while to download but it was totes worth it :D it was extremley fun and the Graphics were Insane and i loved them, I love making and Playing Realistic games the most because of the athmosphere but I also really love the Low poly Cartoony assets mixed with real lighting even more as it reminds me of playing voxel based minecraft with Shaders :D
For a Jam game made by three people this is a great game and it deserves more love 😊
Rated: 10/10

I hope to see you in the Racookie Heist Jam comments section. My game is also very similar to yours in terms of art style but admittedly it has Wayyyy less Aura than yours :D

Nice, game it took me a while to download it but the wait was rewarded by the high quality of the visuals!

I don't know if it's something that you could add in future, but a lot of times I've wanted to jump... I think one of the reasons is the level design and the assets used for it (a lot of ramps)

Anyway it was an enjoyable experience well done!

Such a cute game. The first few rooms/levels seem a bit way too easy, like I could just run around and the monsters won't really do anything.  The pricing of items is a bit weird, but I think that does come with balancing. Really fun game though, the rat is super cute and the oil slick slide animations was so funny. Good job! 🤗

Pretty cool game, nice visuals, the rat is nice and cute, the monster is whatever, kinda looked like dirt. I did find the first levels layout a bit too easy, and the seconds ones a bit too hard, as I didn't have cookies to buy upgrades, I also feel that the prices of all the things overall need to be changed a bit, as  after my first playthrough I feel I don't really have an incentive spend money on other upgrades aside from the bag one, or the doors that lead you to other places... maybe that other places gave you more cookies??

Overall pretty cool game, has potential

Mouse raids do a great job of conveying the sense of risk. Getting caught once really makes you not want to get caught again. It’d be great to see more enemies with different behaviors

I liked the audio and the visuals. Getting eaten gave me chills. The rooms were well designed, I wish there was more! Good work!

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! We really appreciate it!

Visuals of the game are nice. The main character looks cute and the monster looks creepy, even managing to jumpscare me because I did not expect it at first. The only problem I've really noticed is the shadows of the torch glitch sometimes, but it doesn't take out of the game's experience.

Developer

I'm really glad you enjoyed our characters! 🐭 Thank you very much!
And yes, we know about the small problems with the torch and animations. Fixes are coming! 😉

You game have Very good visuals. Sadly I wasn't able to able to enjoy it because I have a pretty low end laptop :(

You should give a try to my game, You will definitely enjoy it XD

Tysm for playing and for the kind words! 🐭✨ Yeah, I know optimization isn’t perfect yet — procedural generation makes it tricky. I’ll keep working on it so more people can enjoy the game. By the way, I already tried your game and left a nice review, really enjoyed it! 🍪💖

Nice visuals, audio creepy and good lighting and effects. The enemy was crazy scary actually lol. Was happy to find a cookie and chest which is a good element of dungeon crawlers I believe. Well done!

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing the game and for your feedback! We're really happy you enjoyed it.

If you have a moment, we'd be incredibly grateful for a rating 🙏

Great Game!
The sound design is very solid especially the ambient sounds.
And the game has a great atmosphere.

I have a suggestion for your download:
If you don't nest the game files in a folder before zipping (just zip the game files directly) people can install your game via the itch.io app. You can avoid the nasty windows defender warning this way. Maybe helps the visibility a bit.

Apart from that, nice work!

Developer

Hey, thanks a lot! Really happy you liked the sound and atmosphere.
And huge thanks for the tip about the itch.io app!

Such a good game!It had everything, my god the dogs screeching gave me goosebumpbs ngl. I just feel like the number of cookies added text could have been a bit bigger and I couldnt understand why it was 0 zero cookies added then realised inventory was full, maybe a message to let the player know. Also, i loved the mouse following the cursor in the main menu.

Developer

Aw, thank you! 🐭 So glad you enjoyed it!

Nice game, remind a bit of Styx.
Like the mood of the game.

Developer

Thanks!

Nice game, was fun to play.
Loved the death animation and the visuals are very nice.
On the gameplay maybe having more space in the inventory at start could be nice, and a special shop inside the level.

If you get a chance we are looking for feedbacks on our game, a small city builder game.

Developer

I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed the game! Thank you very much for your feedback and suggestions - we'll definitely take them on board.
