How does the game fit the theme?
My first idea was inspired by the board game Risk. From there it evolved into a turn-based strategy game with a heavy biscuit theme.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Everything was made from scratch during the jam, and I used Godot for development. The only exception is the font.

I was also thinking about Risk, when the theme was revealed, but I had no idea what to make out of it. So, cool to see a great execution of the idea. And congrats on the AI! Had quite the challenge in the beginning.

Great game overall! I couldn't figure out the ending for a while but finally beat them :D

This is a really good strategy game, I'd love to see it expanded upon. I'd like to see some quality of life improvements like hovering over an enemy unit to see how far they can move, as well as a total turn & kill count shown on the game end screen. Alternate maps, new unit types, and especially a multiplayer mode would be great additions as well. If you do expand the game further please tell me!
