How does your game fit the theme?
The ouroboros must feed on its own tail to build up the energy to ascend. While the tail regenerates over time, being too greedy will cause the serpent to devour itself and die. The loop is both in the ring-like form of the serpent eating itself and in the cycle of feeding on its own tail as it keeps growing back.

Love the color pallet! Simple but well thought out. The timing of how things progress and regenerate felt very balanced. Great work on the entry!

Thank you so much!

This was my favourite clicker game of the jam. It has purpose and you need thought and balance. Well done. I only wish you had a little countdown to start off  the level so I could move my mouse to the feed button. The distance I needed to move from retry to feed used some munch time up. Awesome game, awesome visuals, awesome audio too (wish I found that for my game)! Well done :)

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! Yes, unfortunately the countdown thing is something that occurred to me right before the deadline, so I didn't have time to implement it, but you're absolutely right!

Great Job!

Has to be my favourite out of all the other ouroboros themed games in the jam.

Developer

Aw, thank you so much! :))

Cool take!

Hey, very cool visual style.

Not sure tbh about the game itself, did only 3 levels, but they were the same except the speed of hunger so maybe it has more stuff later on.

The idea behind oroboros is perfect for a loop theme, tho It would be cool to see the entity change on every stage. To feel like there's something to look forward to on every level!

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! Having the ouroboros change appearance would have been cool indeed. I might keep working on this little game a little after the jam ends!

I really liked the artstyle ✨

The concept for this game is pretty cool, I'm also pretty impressed with the visual style for a first Jam attempt, its nothing too special but it works. The little anitmations and shake add just that little bit of juice

The actual gameplay didnt really do it for me, it feels like there need to be more nuance to when and how often i click, its not bad right now but just not super engaging to me.

at least i didnt run into any bugs and that cant be taken for granted in a Jam!
Nicely done Ourobro ;)

A decent concept but could use more twists to it. Right now it's just strategic press the button

i ascended!

the snake game where you have to eat your tail

very pretty, would love to see more of this with upgrades and all

The concept is simple but the last level is diabolical xD

A short but sweet challenge. The final level was surprisingly difficult! I love the art-style and it's whole spacey/spiritual vibe.
