Really cute little platformer! I love the visuals(especially the little guy's waddle :D)
This game is AMAZINGGG!!! It is so charming, love the visuals and the audio, love also the little story telling at first, levels are pretty well desogn as well, great job!
personally the downward movement feels a bit weird since it's faster than when you jump, but other than that this is a pretty solid puzzle platformer, i dig the blocks that switch whenever you wrap around the screen
Fun Game! I loved it!
Loved this AHAHAH, the protagonist is the best thing i've ever seen in my life, love the puzzles and the level design, also the drawings at the start and at the and are amazing AHAHAH i (wan't understanding them i was just living them) And also THE CROUCH ANIMATION IS SO SATHISPHING HOW DO YOU EVEN WRITE IT
Great work :D
Love the art style! I would definitely play more levels if they ever got made. Gimbo is my friend now.
I love how you took the simple mechanic of screen warping and really stretched it out into some genius puzzles! Other than that, the art was a super unique and appealing style, the sound effects were good, and the game just felt really nice to play. Well done good sir!
Great game and really good puzzle design. I really liked how a lot of levels you had to do twice, because the second time the blocks would be toggled, and the levels would be different. The game also felt very juicy. Good job.
This is great! Very satisfying puzzle design on this. Nice work!
The level design in this game is crazy! Very creative and well thought out. . It’s impressive how well it balances difficulty and fun. Well done!!
Awesome game! I've seen games that do a looping mechanic like this before, but adding the blocks that change state when you loop throws an awesome wrench into it. They add just the right amount of head-scratching to make for some incredibly satisfying level design. The story was a bit hard to follow at the beginning, but the vibe was cute enough that I was still having a good time. This is a really well executed game, great job!
Thanks so much for your input! The story is in the description as well, for people who didn't understand my intentionally bad drawings lol :) - Loved your game to death.
love the character. nice mechanic for puzzle solving. game plays really well.
nice work!
Very fun and clever! The gimmicks feel very Nintendo-y, if that makes sense!
Cool game!
Hello my fellow SCREEN WARPER and SCRATCHER!
Great game! Loved the simple, creative level design! The player felt nice and weighty, and the game as a whole is snappy. Short and sweet, plus the art is great! (love the cutscenes lmao)
YOO it's mista mangoes himself, in the peel! I gotta try your game when I get the chance. Thanks for the kind feedback!
I've played a couple of games with this sort of concept, however the blocks really made it unique. I love the art style and really good level design. I love how juicy it is as well. Can never get enough of that
Thanks! I was really proud of coming up with the blocks lol, I really needed a mechanic to tie into the main mechanic more.
The style is amazing, and good level design!
Gimbo
Managed to beat the game, had a great time. One level had a bug when you start inside of the wall. Love this narration on this one.
Can you describe which level it was?
I had to speedrun the game again to go back to that level but it didn't glitch this time. Maybe I had some sort of spawning displacement (velocity) from finishing a previous level. The first time I played it, my character would raise inside of the wall. Had a blast playing it again!
Weird. I coded it so that would never happen 🤷♂️, I'll take a look later, glad you had a good time!
It's a lot of fun, the animations are great, and the levels are done very quickly (big brain here?)
