How does your game fit the theme?
Each time you die, you loop back in time to be assisted by your past incarnations.
(Optional) Please credit all assets you've used
The only "asset" (non-tool) I used was Press Start 2P by Codeman38 and some random images from the internet with permissive enough licenses.
See description for more.
(Optional) What would you like to be called if GMTK features your game?
ketufaispikinut is pronounced like /kətyfɛpikinyt/ (according to my rather bad phonetical-writing skills). It's pronounced like you would if you were a french native.

Cool platformer with death looping, they punching and kicking is very satisfying!
i loved the rat dialogue and the name of the game , many games use many version of yourself nut for puzzles not for combat . i enjoyed it
Great game and really well polished, I'm impressed! The levels were well thought out and I really liked the mechanics. Awesome game!
Really impressive game! From the story to the gameplay all really polished. Good job!
This game is TOP! All aspects are mastered. Very impressive for 4 day-jam. So much fun and laugh when you see all the dead mice fighting the Skull army :D Are you gonna work more on it? Can't wait to see a longer version! Congrats!!
I enjoyed the story and it was fun having a huge swarms of mouses chasing down the enemies, and using the past mouse to assist you in this game. This is pretty similar to the game I did.
I'm gonna check it out, then!
Loved this! The story was fun. Poor agent Mouse Smith!
The skull was a bit underwhelming when I finally got there. After a couple of deaths I realized I could just stand in one place and it would miss me so I could just wait until it was able to be hit.
Yeah. That attack (fireball when near the skull, I suppose) used to work fine but then I changed how another worked so that it aimed properly - but forgot to clean the flag that changed its behavior. It thus kept on missing, and I only saw this when I had a few minutes left to submit... Woops.
Anyway, thank you for playing !
Smith
Fun but waiting for your

Oh and the unskip
pble text boxes ne
ed work.
Sorry... I indeed only had a few playtesters and that was during the last three hours of the jam. You are able to skip the dialogues / make them go faster with P (mentionned on the game page.)
This felt really polished! Great job. The boss mechanic was nice
+1 :D enjoyed the metal gear comms with Sarge
Was indeed vaguely inspired by MGS on the Game Boy Color :)
Very cool game! As someone said it'd be nice to be able to click to skip some dialogue. or at least click to skip the animation for it. Would have loved to get to the interesting action platforming sooner! Very fun though otherwise : )
Pressing P during dialogues speeds them up :)
It says so on the itch.io page, too (I shouldn't have put it so low tho).
oh my bad 😭
Thank you for playing!
first of all super fantastic fire VFX you got there in the beginning :D Would be nicer if I could just jump into action by skipping the amazing
ratsmice talking to each other :D liked the flying kick :)You can speed up the dialogues with P; I've written it on the itch page but its not very visible ,_,
Thank you for playing!
LOVED IT! The gameplay is really well done, and it's soo fun when you have a lot of Agent Smiths on the screen. My only feedback is that it'd be great to find an interesting mechanic for the Agents that you save from their own death. If you kill the enemy that had killed you, before it actually kills you (if it makes sense). Not sure what that mechanic would be, but I'd love to self my past safe.
Great idea! I had a scrapped idea of a score/leaderboard and it could have played really well with it - or the saved agents could have followed you trough the game... I'll keep that in mind when I continue the work on the game :D
Thank you for playing :)
It's perfect 😭
The gameplay is super solid & polished too
Thank you!
Amazing! I'm fully invested in agent Smith's lore now. Finished the game and absolutely loved everypart of it.
Sound design is what really sold me this game. Everything felt right about it. Would love to see you make a full game out of this consept.
OK I ABSLOTELEY LOVE IT , AMAZNIG , GOOD JOB
Tysm!
As promised am here to play the game and rate it cant wait
Extremely fun game both in gameplay and style! Some of the platforming is a bit finicky, but this is brilliant!
Thanks for the comment! When in the game exactly is the platforming finicky? Is it a global issue? I had an issue on some computers where some platforms just didnt work.
Specifically the only part that comes to mind for finicky platforming is the section with the 3 elevating platforms controlled by two buttons. The gap can be a bit precise to cross.
Still one of my favorites from the jam so far, the style and gameplay click together in such a fun way. Absolutely lost it at *dead noises* XD
Very fun. Gonna keep playing :D
This game is very polished for 4 days worth work for a solo developer! I highly encourage people to try this game out. 5/5!
