housebando is my waifu
A very cool idea with an insane amount of polish for a jam game, well done!
This is probably a "me" problem - but I got stuck on the second level. Tried 10 times, couldn't get past it. Either I missed something important or my brain just doesn't work that way. Either way, amazing job!
So pretty and meta!! I can see how hard it can become to design levels for such a complex concept. I would love to see more levelsssss
So meta, very creative way to approach the theme!
Super creative, and I'm very impressed with the amount of levels. I do feel the levels could ramp up the difficulty a bit faster, but it's completely understandable to want to keep it on the simpler side for the sake of the Jam, especially with all the different mechanics!
This game wouldn't at all feel out of place as one of the 20 featured games in the GMTK video, excellent job!
This game is one of the best of the jam, the amount of levels, art, story and puzzles is mind blowing, I can't believe you managed to get all this in only 4 days, congratulations!!
I was honestly blown away by your game! This is my first 25/25 I've awarded to a game in this Jam! Congratulations, you built something really great and I hope you're really proud of it! I have never been so motivated to play one of these games all the way to the end. Your production value feels much greater than what I'd expect for a 96 hour build. The narrative cutscenes are full of color (literally and figuratively), and the puzzle gameplay was innovative and thoughtful. I love that you had a false ending too, to let the people that wanted a shorter experience bow out and to let the people that wanted to see your more advanced mechanics get what they wanted too. Very clever game design. I reached your second ending, and that last puzzle almost stumped me. I had a very satisfying "eureka!" moment when I realized I needed to not move the first yellow house all the way to the left as my first move.
You inspired me with this game! I haven't dreamed of making something so ambitious in both gameplay and art/narrative for one of these games before, but now I want to at next year's Jam. Thank you! If you can set aside the time, I'd greatly appreciate your feedback on my comparatively more modest game.
Cheers, and congrats on an amazing game!
Thank you so much for such a nice comment! :) We are so glad to see that it had such an impact. Comments like yours lift all our spirits up and motivate us to keep going.
Of course I'm omw to play your game! :D
Late reply, but comments like these always help refreshing the results are worth the effort, tysm! I also hope to see your entry next year :)
So much fun! Trippy, clever, and funny, what more would you ask for?! Had such a good time playing it! And the husband scene made me lol. Great job!
Buenísimo trabajo chicos, especialmente con las animaciones y la música.
Wow, this is so original! I love the artwork, music, and the story! The gameplay is awesome too! There are so many levels and mechanics, and all the mechanics are introduced so well! Fantastic job!
This game is AWESOME. Pretty solid in every aspect. The level design is pretty clever and I love the comedy XD. Good job :D
Such a cool idea and amazing ending!
This is a trippy game. I love the intro sequence, reminds me of old Newgrounds games. I gotta say this fucked with my head and the sleep deprivation isn't helping, but this is a well executed submission. Great take on the theme!
I loved it! That intro was so good and had silly ending. Fantastic use of the theme with this meme. The puzzles were great, nice job with everything!
I've seen recursive games before, but this is pretty good and unique. Kind of odd to me that you push houses by pushing the walls within them, but the mechanics are really solid. So many gimmicks afterwards that gives plenty of variety and are introduced pretty well for the most part.
I also like that you added different floor textures so that the game is colorblind friendly.
Well done. :)
Late reply but thanks for the nice feedback! Was it something in particular that made it feel odd?
Nothing to say except that i loved it! Well done.
This game is a true puzzle masterpiece! It features great music and interesting twists in the levels! This game has shown me how much I love well-thought-out puzzles. Fantastic, great work!
Oh wow, this is one vicious surreal dream! Very fun and really on the theme! Cool animations, music and art!
It's fun! Loved the cutscene and overall art, just house interior (walls, floor) could use some more work. It is visually much worse than characters/houses. The biggest issue, that almost made me quit the game was that I did not understand the mechanic of changing floor color. That could be somehow better communicated. I got stuck at second level, was very confused that sometime I can move the houses and sometime (gray floor) I could not... I thought it was a bug. Only after reading comments and nobody having issue I went back trying to figure it out :D
Late reply but valuable feedback, thanks!
