omg, this is so awesome

This is great, no wonder it scored so high. I could play this forever :)

It took me a while to figure this out, but it was well worth it! Great game!

I liked the story and overall retro feel. Everything was nice and coherent. I also liked how you mixed it up with 'minigames" and cart riding part.

In the flood of clone games this jam, adding parts that clones pass through is a unique twist. It is quite rare to have such polished character controls, it felt great to control the character!

I like the idea, but it is sooo hard! and the character is soo slow. This would greatly benefit from a tutorial. Some really simple situation first.

Also it crashed at one point.

Idea of skeleton in cart collecting souls is neat and roguelite elements could be interesting. But I think you need to work on the behavior and control of the vehicle a little bit. It did not feel right to me... but then again, I kinda suck in racing games :)

Also card drag and drop has a very funny bug :)

thanks, yeah, I wish too :) it was harder than I thought to solve it. I will probably have to rework it after the jam

I was like, hmm, cute game... oh.... OH... Anyway :) great writing, I really enjoyed this.

I think the idea is interesting, but it still needs some work to make it more engaging. Also my score often went to -2147483647, that should not probably happen :)

It is great, love the puzzlle, style and audio :) Btw, I think there is a bug, as the target number at the bottom does not reset when you press play again.

I did not expect something like this in a 4 day game jam! The song started soon getting on my nerves, but the art was great! Just be sure that the horizon line of the background roughly aligns with eyes of the characters or it wont work (like the background for the initial dialogue with mom, where it seems like you are looking down to floor, but the character is drawn like you are looking in front of you)

One thing I was thinking about. Wouldn't it be better to reset at the end of the day? Like you are trapped in a time loop like in Groundhogs day which resets in the evening back to the morning. And when you get everything right you will escape the time loop. It would allow player to gather clues throughout the day so he can better answer the questions. Resetting for each character is just guess work and a little bit tedious. It also promotes rushing through dialogues.

Nice game with simple puzzles and nice presentation. Puzzle with song took me a while as it was not very obvious that there is a timer and only solvable with clone.

Awesome, in the end it is really hard not to kill yourself :D

Awesome game. I love how abilities are synced to the music.

yea, yea, its tough fight with just four days :D I also totally messed up my difficulty curve

I like the concept, but I am not sure how do you get more points. If I use all the tiles and close the loop do I get maximum points?

Btw. I thought there were just four level before I read comments here, you should consider adding scrollbar :)

Tactical rhytm game?! Count me in!

Btw, there is IndexOutOfBounds error there, but you probably know that :)

I almost gave up on the third level, before I realized you can kill the top snake just by jumping and slashing close. Personally I would not add particularly challenging things before you get to your hook. People might give up before.

The idea of ever changing levels is fun and I loved you included cut scenes, they really enhance the experience.

Great idea! Loved the art and music and overall atmspohere!

Loopy twist on "runner" games, fun and very polished.

Very fun and very polished! Seeing my cart crash always made me chuckle :)

Awesome! I could play this for a looong time :)

I was like "this is easy!" ...umm... why do I have zero points? Great game! :)

Very fun! At first I was very confused, but as I discovered more I liked it more and more :)

This is great :D Very fun, like 3D Pirate FTL! The art is also amazing for the time you had!

There was just one thing that was confusing me at the beginning - I was trying to pickup boxes on the ship to "power up my cannons" :D Maybe make the drop glow purple or differentiate some other way?

Wow, never thought that dvd screensaver could be so much fun :D The level of polish is insane. I am just sad I never managed to hit corner and spawn piggy bank :'(

Not very original (hello Audiosurf :D), but fun to play nevertheless. The art is great and it is very polished for a jam game. Great job!

Btw, I have seen this in progress pics on discord and just the art alone hooked me...and now I spent like 15 minutes searching that channel to find it! Glad I did! :D

This is great! Very addictive and so much content for a jam game! Maybe show lines of attack on hover when placing a weapon?

Other than that, you have got a banger on your hands and if you release it on ios I will buy it right away :)

Very creative and very fun to play!

I liked how you progressively unlock the soundtrack. Thats very cool. I also liked the characters. Also, if this is your first game, really great job and do not let my criticism to deter you :) It is a great feat to finish a game in 4 days and I only wanted to provide some ideas for improvement.

I felt very stupid for a long time becuase the instructions are hidden on a screenshot with very dark font and when the game launches there is no instruction and no sound. I thought the game was bugged. Next time I suggest to put instructions in the main text and even ingame.

I have few suggestions that I think might push the game a bit:

- If you make a rhytm game do not start with dead silence. I know you are unlocking parts of the song by visiting planets, but maybe put in some "space humm" or something. I thought my sound is off or something, had to double check.

- On many planets you die 1 second after spawning. Show where the character is. Maybe even let it follow the path and when the countdown starts let player continue the path. It might be good to indicate which planet is the first one(easiest), so that players are not thrown off by difficulty. Something like "<-- start here"

- there is no rhytm. I would expect there would be some kind of beat you follow when doing laps around the planets.

- it was not clear to me at first if I did the planet correctly or not. The screen looks the same when I die, just the buttons are switched.

Interesting concept. I liked how you combine roguelite elements with fighting game. Also, it looks great, really like the style.

One issue I was stuck early on is, that you are taught to click throught the dialogue with spacebar. But then suddenly you are tasked to click an option with a mouse. It is not clearly indicated that you are supposed to do something different (the button does not highlight when mouse is over it) and the text still indicates that I should press "space".

What I think might also also improve the game is a bit more responsive combat - like right now there is a little pause after an attack where I cannot do anything, which was very annoying to me. Then the little things like showing my characters health, showing graphically what each upgrade option does so I do not have to read the whole text.

it says space, but you are supposed click the option with mouse

Thanks!

Thanks for playing! You need to watch out for number of saw teeth you have left and either collect spare parts (bolts) to repair or visit traveling red guy :) I will add some clarification after the jam is over.

This is awesome. Great puzzle game.  I was a bit stuck at start before I found out I HAVE to spend all the cells. Some visual feedback would help. And second thing I would love - a possibility to go forward/backward just one step, instead of playing/pausing. That would make observarion easier.

Pretty hard, but fun. Great visuals and sound!

Great! Would love to see this expanded! Just minor gripe - why moving the cursor on button release? Why not on button press? It seems like it is lagging.

Fun game and the level of polish is insane! I am just not a fan of restraring from the very start, after a while it becomes tedious.

Thanks, I am actually surprised that I have not encountered many submission centered around this path following idea. I thought everybody will do that :D Instead most popular seem clones and a lasso.
