27 loops. Am i supposed to just move my mouse to corner very fast? Can lasers be turned off?

Anyway i really liked this one. There are quite some games where you help yourself with your past self, but usually it's like one or two, not a whole squad. And mouse control pretty neat too

Developer

Haha, no thats a bug. And the most common feedback ive gotten so far. The solution was in the blue rectangles that count down

Very fun! At first I was very confused, but as I discovered more I liked it more and more :)

Very interesting take on the past player ghost formula. Although I struggled a bit at first on what to do, but it maybe just because I'm not super good with this type of games. But I loved the idea and its execution! I would like to hear your opinion on my submission as well :)

Submitted

verry cool concept! i love how the game gets easier if you're struggling with it!

Loved this one. I think this type of game is common in the jam, where you have to redo the same level many times but your past selves help out. However I think this is a standout in that category of game because it is just well executed.

Won in 33 loops. Probably could do better

Developer

Indeed, I knew going in that time loop was going to be common so I tried to set it apart from the standard time loop puzzle platformers I had already seen in the past.

And 33 is not bad on first playthrough. So far the best I've seen is 18 in case you wanna prove yourself ;)

The way the green areas speed up with many loops is really what makes this funnier than regular clone games in my opinion, really really fun and doesn't feel repetitive to run through the same scene again and again. Great job!

Developer

Glad you liked it! Is indeed very satisfying when you start blazing through the stages. I had to scrap a lot of levels because they just weren't fun on repeat

great game

Hey, really good game. I love how simple it was but tricky. Took a while to understand the bridges but was really fun :)

Developer

Thanks! glad you figured it out in the end. I know I could have made it more obvious to the player, but it's also fine to be searching for solutions yourself from time to time right?

fun, hard, addictive. keep up the good work man

Genuinely amazing game. So Simple yet so Addicting. Got the time down to 8 seconds :D

Would be cool to see you work on this further and add even more levels

Developer

Wow, that's impressive. Sounds like I should have added leaderboards :P

We'll see if I pick up this project again in the future to flesh it out more

Maybe my favourite take on the time loop concept, one of those games you can see fleshed out into something amazing post-jam

Developer

Yes! there is definitely a lot of untouched potential, even with just the mechanics already in the game

Submitted

I really like your approach to shortcuts with clones. Super creative. Good stuff! :)

Very fun game, has a pretty good gameplay loop. The idea is rather inspired

Developer

Thanks, I'm proud of how this one turned out!

I've played a couple of time loop games so far, but this is probably my favorite. Very polished and fun to play. Great Job :)

Developer

Thanks! really happy you liked it. I haven't seen that many time-loop games so far in the ones I tried out, but nice to hear you consider mine above the rest :P

Nice game! Well rounded between fluid gameplay, nice visuals, and fitting music, not too many games here pull it all together like that. I got a little confused in the last one but once I got it I finished in 35 loops.

Developer

Yeah i've heard from people playtesting that it took them a bit of time to figure it out, but overall I expect peoples curiosity should lead them to the solution pretty quickly generally :)

What a fun and creative way to use the theme! I got really into this, and it had a groovy song!

My game is a cross between Super Mario Galaxy, and Cuphead, if you are interested!

Developer

The song really did put the whole game together indeed, especially when I added the slowdown and startup of the track. If you're interested you can find the link to the song in my submission page.
