I almost gave up on the third level, before I realized you can kill the top snake just by jumping and slashing close. Personally I would not add particularly challenging things before you get to your hook. People might give up before.
The idea of ever changing levels is fun and I loved you included cut scenes, they really enhance the experience.
Very fair, I wanted to go back and review the first few levels but I ran out of time before that could happen, still thanks for the feedback!
yea, yea, its tough fight with just four days :D I also totally messed up my difficulty curve
Good job making this! It has a nice message/commentary, and also just an interesting and fairly relatable story. I think you did a good job with the difficulty curve and making the upgrades feel like they made the game worse from the level design (at least that was how I felt and I assume where you were going with the story) with how it is hastily added and the assets do not match. It lasted for a surprisingly long time. I am sorry that it broke, though, and I may come back and go through for the last story beat after the jam ends (I assume you've fixed it based on what you said).
Thank you!! And yeah, I fixed it and plan to post the fixed version as soon as the game is over! Thanks for the feedback!!
I really liked the difficulty of it, as well as the sprites. You did a good job!
Thank you!
Cool graphics! I also saw your comment about godot version upgrades, I feel that, last year had to do the same thing. Congrats on getting the game out!
Export templates personally hate me. But thank you for the compliments!
