I like the different levels. The gameplay gets laggier the longer you play each level, making it less responsive.
Thanks! I'm sorry that it got laggy. I know why it is lagging though (the tire marks), so I will fix that and release an updated version with proper size and that works on windows with less lag after voting ends.
Really cute idea! I love the booos, I managed to hit every black circle on the maps ever, very fun!
Thanks! The black circles are supposed to be oil, and that's why they slow you down, but we didn't have much time to replace them with something that looks more like oil.
fun idea. I enjoyed it
Thanks for the feedback!
It got to a point where the booing went from being funny to a personal attack and I honestly love it. Made me not want to mess up at all at risk of getting bullied by 3 very displeased audience members. I also found the controls to actually be pretty smooth, in particular the turning which felt well equipped to handle a lot of the turns and loops on the tracks
Thanks for the feedback!
I enjoyed this little game! The upgrades could do a bit of work though
Thanks for the feedback!
Five star audio, the 3-person crowd is exhilarating.
Only complaints is some borders would push me back into itself several times which made me lose a run where one crash set me back five hits, and the buy menu was a little hard to make out because of the background. Otherwise I love the idea of this roguelike, very fun game!
Thanks for the feedback! I ran into that big a lot during testing and I thought I had fixed it, but I may have to further rework that system.
I got boo'd a lot 😭😂. Nice work, I had fun. The colors all worked well together. The car controller also felt pretty nice. I tried to make one once and failed miserably, LOL.
Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you liked it!
The physics and the feel of the car are absolutely amazing! It is very responsive and enjoyable to drive! The progression loop of the game likely needs to be fleshed out a fair bit. Often times I didn't feel like the upgrades did anything, but still the game was a lot of fun!
Yeah, a lot of the upgrades are somewhat situational, and we weren't really able to balance it super well for some of the items, but if you can let me know what specific items you felt did not do anything, I will see if they can reasonably be buffed. Thanks for the honest feedback!
Very funny racing game. Liked the controlls and the racing experience. Pretty cool!!
Thank you! It was funny to make too lol
reminds me of micro machine series. those booing scared the * out of me. ngl.
Hope you weren’t too frightened 👻
Really cool little game, of an vehicle game I've played so far it's felt the most responsive and satisfy-boo boo boo
Anyways, sound effects are funny, intentional low quality always gets me, the 5 second countdown still playing when I reached the finish line would typically be seen as bad in a game yet here it enhances it, I think the visuals deserve more credit than you'd think at first, the flower field was surprisingly pretty and had a lot of charm, awesome game!
Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you liked the bitcrushing!
Hahah the boo sound! Cool game, felt good to play.
Thanks for the feedback! I am glad you enjoyed it.
Cool idea, I am curious of what framework/engine did you use to make this game, since the build is very small and it did crash on Windows build when I tried to select the start button.
I cracked up when I hit the wall, did you make the booing sound from yourself?
We used Gamemaker. I am not sure why it crashed, I have never encountered that, but I also had not tested the windows build after making some last minute changes, so I will look into that. But yes, I just recorded a boo and asked my friends to give me their boos and then played them all together. Thanks for the feedback!
I think I figured it out. I converted all the audio files in a last-minute attempt to make the web build work, so I think I just forgot to change the name of one sound effect to the updated name in the code.
Cool idea and execution! As others mentioned the browser version gets stuck in a corner and small, so I may try the windows version when I have a chance.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it
The sound effects :D nice... the screen is very small tho
Yes, I will put a note on the page about that, it's fullscreen on the windows version though. Also thanks!
Great concept, idk if it was just me but the screen was so little and in the corner. Made it a bit weird, but other than that it was very well done!
Thanks! Yeah, I didn't test the web build until last minute so it's stuck in the corner, the windows version is actually fullscreen.
Loved the concept, I especially liked the custom sound effects you had, made it feel like it really had a charming touch. Solid racing game as well. Only complaint is that it's kinda small but apart from that, no major issues. Great entry!
Thanks! We didn't have time to make more tracks or make them much bigger, but our original plan was to have 4 or 5 tracks. I'm glad you liked it!
Really lovely soundtrack! I like the idea with exchange upgrades (plus and minus)
Thanks!
The composer is Liborio Conti, we were running short on time so we found some copyright free music on YouTube lol. Thank you for the comment!
Anyway, good job guys!:>
