Oh brought me memories of my high school full of diodes, resistors, transistors.... :D
Nice puzzle game, I still thought someone will kill me while solving it.

Note: I did not finish playing the whole game because I got stuck on a circuit. So I might not have the full picture!

This is a very smart puzzle game. I must be honest that I had to think through most puzzles, which is proof that the idea has potential.  But I found the dialogue a bit too much and didn't get what exactly these arrow things did, even though i read through the text.

But honestly that is the only main issue I had. Everything else was fun and I had a great time. Also, is this a horror game? It did give me creepy vibes o_o

Developer(+1)

Not quite a horror game, more a spooky game. Thanks for playing ! Yeah, I thought Inverter Diodes would be easier to understand then they've proven. Not an uncommon issue.  Had I the time for more tutorialisation (Or an animation that actually shows the diode physically turning around) that would be ideal

Submitted(+1)

I agree. But keep in mind that it is a game jam game. And for this the game is peak

Such a cool game, feels very nostalgic too, but with incredible graphics!

Got to say the aesthetic of this game was interesting, definitely pulled off that sinister vibe, a bit hard in some places so I had to skip a level but that more I think of my problem. Overall great job in the time we had for this jam.

Developer(+1)

thanks for playing ! I don’t think it’s a you problem actually, this game is definitely too tricky.

this game is soooooo cool!! the production value is so impressive for a solo dev, you've crafted such a sinister vibe through your worldbuilding and beautiful art. my only issue was that it was very hard in some places! i had to skip two levels, which was a little frustrating because i felt like i knew the circuit i had to build just not where to place it.

the main mechanic is really clever! it feels more like programming puzzle than a tile placement game once the new mechanics get introduced. overall this game feels crazy professional and boasts a ton of levels, and it's soooo cool to see your improvement year over year man!!!! top quality stuff

Developer(+1)

thanks for playing Ivy. ! glad you liked it so much. And I agree ts IS too hard. I think with puzzle games you really need playtesting which I did not have time for ;( Thank you!!

Despite the existence of similar games, your game is impressively crafted, with a remarkable atmosphere, polished menus, and a cohesive visual style.

Developer

thanks ! I realised the base idea was not actually particularly original so I’m glad the atmosphere made it enjoyable for ya

yeah no this is my favorite game from the jam so far i don't even have anything to say. you killed it here dude! fantastic job; the setting is great, the story is wonderful to experience, the puzzles are challenging and respect the player without being too abstruse or hard to pick up, and i just adore the aesthetic. super good job here man

Developer(+1)

Awh thanks dude. Made my day. Been feeling a bit down on myself as the game isn't perfect but. Thank you. Really.

I think alot of focus went towards the aesthetic here so I'm glad you liked it. And despite the puzzles probably being a bit too tricky I think they're pretty good moments when you solve them.

Submitted(+1)

you did great dude. absolutely worth the time spent honing on the aesthetic; and hey, post-jam cleanup is a thing, too! regardless, i hear you on that 'dang, it could've been better' front. head held high, yeah? you made a real good experience!

Developer(+1)

I really appreciate it. I think I might do a lil post-jam version after the rating period is over. I oughta play your game too !

Submitted(+1)

Extremely well polished and clever game :) I had a good time. Very cool puzzles. I would say my only nitpick is that the text speed in the transmissions should be quicker. Everything else was wonderful though, nice job.

Developer

Ah yeah I added a skip feature for that ! Like, in undertale or something where the text will complete if you click. I'm glad you enjoyed though ! Thank you for playing.

Submitted

Yes I did notice that, so no complaints! I think if you increase the speed of the text just a bit more though players would be less likely to need to skip though. Just a thought :D

I am too stupid for this game, but it is incredibly fun 👌

Game looks promising, but i didn't get how to open the first door. LMB doesn't work

Developer

eh ? As in, left mouse button ? Are you sure ? Thats so strange. Like, you just click on it. How strange. Maybe try playing not in full screen ? seriously strange bug

Developer

I would recommend playing out of fullscreen, press Alt+Enter

Developer

To be clear, this is after you switched on the generator?

Great game! I played for around 40 minutes or so and still at the halfway point lol.
I very much enjoy this game, plus, it has L O R E
The art also looks very professional.
One negative thing is the game was laggy and the movements were slow, I hope the post-jam version can be more friendly towards weak PCs

Developer

heya, thanks for playing !

I have gotten a bit of feedback saying that the game doesn’t run very well on some PCs. Sorry about that. I think I know what the issue is too. Are you on a laptop perchance?

Submitted(+1)

Very good game. You get those "aha" moments when you figure some things out. The tutorial could be slightly less intrusive, but overall very good game!

the assets are very nice it's very professional and the game is also very fun makes me think even though i m very little brain

Developer

I liked what I played with the game but really struggled with performance, the game was super laggy when in level for me - movement was extremely slow and had difficulties completing the puzzles due to the lag. however, the game did feel unique and had some good story dialog, well done :)

Submitted(+1)

Pretty Hard puzzles! Seems like a horror but I didnt get past the inverter part - (Brain issue)

Submitted

Wow, this really reminds me of Watch Dogs! I have a suggestion: could you add the control instructions to the description? Currently, they're hidden in the dialogue boxes and can be easily missed/skipped.

Developer(+1)

Ah that’s a good idea. Don’t know how I didn’t think of that. Thanks !

Fun puzzle game and love the worldbuilding! A bit hard for me to figure out the one with six diodes, but overall very ominous atmosphere and engaging puzzles!

Developer

Ah glad you liked it. I was worried about the difficulty, it's always hard to grasp with puzzle games. I'm blind to the difficulty because I know the answer.

Really cool game, i love how everything is just so smooth

Developer(+1)

Thanks, I put alot of work into the aesthetic this time around.
