Very solid idea, and as mentioned before it would really work well as a .io game!!
This could work well as a .io game with multiplayer! It's quite funny how you can eat your own tail too. It would be nice if some of the geometry was either clearly closer together or further apart so that there was less ambiguity whether you could pass through.
Now I am become Death, the destroyer of snek! I got my score up to 20! I really loved the freedom of movement compared to similar games - I only wish for greater challenge and glory - would be cool if there were enemy variants with different abilities, like dashing or splitting in two?
Cool game! attacking the other snakes is very satisfying, and I find the movement cool aswell. I only wish that you could move your mouse up to see higher, so you could look for snakes in the distance. But other than that, good job:)
Agreed. Also the mouse isn't locked, so it's easy to accidentally click outside the window. That said, art's cute, concept solid. Made me smile.
