Hi, I’m really hoping someone can help me. My game was working perfectly fine earlier, but now it no longer runs correctly and I can’t figure out why. I haven’t intentionally changed anything that should have broken it, but it’s completely stopped working.

I’m pretty stressed because this is for the 3D Game Jam, and I’ve already invested a huge amount of time into development, including a lot of 3D modelling and asset work. With the deadline coming up, I’m worried I won’t be able to submit unless I can get this fixed soon.

If anyone has time to take a look or point me in the right direction, I would be incredibly grateful. Any help at all would mean a lot right now.

Thank you.

Can you describe the problem you are facing in the game, and if possible send images

In my case I had to deal with several problems (after the last update), like:

  • Program crashes
  • Visual editor crashes
  • The load of some glb model didn’t work the first time. If I put it, a pink box appeared in the up left corner. But after reload the file in the same model, then you can use it correctly (but the pink box still was there until I delete it).
  • Other minor bugs (don’t remember all).

The GDevelop5 3D version is still in development and needs a lot of work (IMO, I don’t know almost nothing of 3D, but the bugs are still important). But is awesome to try it.

If you can tell us more, maybe whe can figure out what is going on… :)

If you are having trouble with an update, the best thing to do is to revert to the version that worked for you. The list is here: https://github.com/4ian/GDevelop/tags

And of course, open a bug report on the forum with everything you think is broken, and include as many details as possible so the team can check what happened.
