It's fairly difficult with no healing in sight. For such a simple design the enemy variety is satisfactory and I had moments where I felt on top and moments where I felt overwhelmed, especially in tighter parts of the level. I appreciate the choice to go with a medium short range attack on the protagonist as it encourages going into more dangerous engagements.

It is quite nice.

Thanks for the feedback!  We did have a few items that allowed the player to regain a fraction of hit points at the end of a level, but last minute we discovered a bug with the healing mechanic which caused the player to die spontaneously :D we didn't have time to fix it so we just decided to remove the healing items from the drop table.
