Wow, this is the best entry I’ve seen since I starting Jamming again in August. It is elegant and chill and simple and works really well. The dice rolling was added for the theme in a very loving way. I’m glad it was there cause I got level 5 first and then quit and then got to enjoy other levels and by the time I got to 5 I was ready for it.

The music is really great! Rich with atmosphere. Great work! It felt like a game I should pay for.

The difficulty was really balanced in all the rooms. I especially liked the platforming room, the picture puzzle and semi transparent glass maze.

The glass room with the symbols reminded me of an escape room I did with fiance.

The only thing I might have changed is add a CRT monitor effect filter option. image.png

Thank you SO much for your wonderful feedback ! It truly made me happy to know that you played my game all the way to the end.

You're right—starting from the fifth room isn’t the easiest way to get a feel for the game, so I’m really glad you had the idea to replay from the beginning  and come back later. It means a lot to me that you highlighted the music that I really enjoyed creating it and I’m really proud to hear that you had fun playing the game.

Regarding the filter effect, it was intended for windowed mode, but you’re right that it can feel a bit harsh in fullscreen. I’ll definitely take care of that after the game jam.

Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback and for being so engaged in testing so many games during the jam. I think many of us (including me) are grateful for such constructive and supportive feedbacks ! ❤️

I like the look and feel of the game 100%. When I said is that maybe it would be great to have a CRT monitor effect, I meant to enhance the low-color pixelated, late 80’s feel I get from the visuals.

I tested a bit:

This turned to this:

I love the way it is now. The CRT didn’t do it for me like I thought it would.

You’re absolutely right, the CRT “monitor” works incredibly well, especially with the old-screen frame and the slightly bleeding RGB/CMYK colors. It really captures the spirit of the era I’m trying to recreate ! I’m definitely going to try this filter. Thank you so much for the idea !
