Ah I just tested this and it worked! Thank you so much! Glad it wasn't me doing something silly xD

I did wonder that, which is why I went back over how to set up a sale but it looks like there is only one way to do it unless I am mistaken? I selected from the menu the "Sales & bundles" and looks like it's the same set-up for either.

Hello folks,

I just set up a Winter Sale for one game, but the sale isn't appearing on the project page, so can only be accessed through the Sale page. Did I do something wrong or is this an itch.io bug? I read the information about setting up a sale and I can't see anything I missed, so the sale should appear on the project page. I'm not sure how to fix it.

Thanks in advance for any help! - AP.

Thank you so much! :)

Aw yay I'm so glad you enjoyed the Tea Garden! Thank you for your kind words and am glad the printer-friendly versions were helpful too. Thanks again!

Aw thank you so much and I absolutely love the sound of the story you made with it! I'm so glad you enjoyed it so much!

Aw yay, thank you and you're so very welcome!

Aw that's great to hear! Hope you'll have even more fun with the new version!

Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it and that it sparked a new project idea!

That's a good question, and my idea had been that it didn't have to be all three, but as you said, a combination of the three.  I'll have to make sure to clarify that better next year, thanks!

Thank you so much to everyone who has participated and shown interest in this first cosy whimsical fantasy jam! I am very much hoping to run it again next year, but perhaps with some tweaks. Therefore, if you can take a moment, I'd love to hear any feedback or suggestions for next year's to make it better!

Thanks again, and I hope you all enjoyed getting cosy and whimsical with your fantasies this past month and a half! 💚

Aww this is very cute! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you TJ! They were fun to do! And thank you so much for your idea of the Wigfish fish wig friend!

Thank you TJ!

Thank you! I absolutely love Alderdoodle's book covers and elements which really pulled this together! Can highly recommend checking out her stuff. :)

Aw thank you so much! So glad you enjoyed it and had such freedom to tell the story you wanted!

Thank you so much for your feedback and for your kind comments about the Little Glade Guardian! I am so glad you enjoyed it so much.

You make some excellent points for improving it and I am also a sucker for journaling games! And yes, I also got a bit bored or frustrated with the repeated roll results when I tried it too but I was trying something new and was limiting myself in terms of the space so I hadn't been sure how to fix that. Perhaps this is one I could return to in the future to expand beyond the one page and make it better (and more of a journaling game)!

Once again, thank you for your comment and I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I'd love to hear your thoughts on the Wandering Library too when you get round to it - although I should note that there will soon be an expanded version of it (once I've finished it)! Enjoy!

Aw that's amazing, thank you so much for your comment and I'm so glad you enjoyed it so much! Good luck with your studies!

This looks great! Can't wait to play it!

Oh that is lovely! Thank you for sharing that! So glad you've been enjoying the original so much, hopefully the updated version will inspire more lovely scrapbooking!

Ooh, good luck with it! And I hope you enjoy playing the game (eventually xD) too! There are so many wonderful solo journaling RPGs out there so I hope it helps you to go and discover more. :)

Hello! Aw thank you! And yes that is absolutely fine. Let me know a link if you post it on itch or somewhere else and I can add it to the list to direct people to it. :) Thank you so much!

Thank you! I noticed you sent me an message on Bluesky though? Unfortunately I don't have access to my DMs there anymore. Feel free to message me on Discord (@ap.cartography) or email instead (ap.cartography.art@gmail.com). Apologies for the inconvenience!

Aw thank you so much!

Aw I'm so glad and you're so welcome!

Beautiful work! Thanks for taking part in the Jam!

I love the idea of playing as a cottage guardian spirit!

I was just about to grab a community copy and realised they've already all gone! This looks lovely though :)

(1 edit)

Hello folks,

I just wanted to leave a quick note here to highlight that only submissions that match the theme and follow the rules of the jam can be accepted. If any do not do so, they unfortunately will be removed. Therefore, please keep the following rules in mind:

  • Please submit new and previously unpublished content
  • No use of Gen AI
  • No fascism, homophobia, transphobia, racism, ableism etc
  • Many thanks,

    AP.

Edit : Please note that users may still participate in the jam even if a submission has been removed or disqualified.

Lovely! One other thought I had was whether to add a further note about how people can use it, such as, whether it's just for personal work or free for commercial work too and how best to attribute you for it too and if that's required?

These are gorgeous! Are you wanting only natural assets? It not, other things I can think to suggest are: blankets, books (either piled up or individual), mug of a warm beverage (tea/hot chocolate/mulled wine?), candles, a plate of pie (either full, or a slice).

If nature, I'm a little stuck on what else to add right now.

Looking forward to seeing more and what others might have to suggest!

No problem at all! I'm still fairly new to jams myself, and with this being the first jam I am hosting, I hadn't been sure how many people would be interested so a Discord server wasn't something I'd actually considered. I would like this to become an annual jam though, so perhaps next year I will open a serverfor it! Thanks for the suggestion!

    Hello, thanks for your questions!

This jam is not ranked, and there is no Discord server.  However if that is something folks would be interested in, I'd be happy to set one up. Until then, using this community space on itch is where the communication will be.

Hand drawn cozy art assets would be more than welcome for this jam!

While this jam does have a focus predominantly on TTRPGs I would absolutely allow a gamebook under the same themes to be submitted!

There are also some SRDs to help you make a solo or duet TTRPG if that is something you'd be interested in trying too, but yes, a gamebook is absolutely fine to make for this jam. Thank you for checking!

Aw that's so good to hear! I love the idea of making up titles and authors for the books! Hearing about people like you enjoying it so much and adding extra things to it is definitely rewarding, so thank you for that. I really hope you'll like the expanded version too when it's done!

Aw that's amazing! So glad you're having such fun with it!

Aw that sounds amazing! Thank you so much and I'm so glad you all had lots of fun with it! I love the idea of the libraries and characters meeting across stories. Thanks again!

Aw yay, thank you, so glad you enjoyed it!

    Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for your feedback! I'll be keeping it in mind for the next potential update. This is definitely a learning curve for me, so I really appreciate the time you've taken to give some feedback, thank you!

    Thank you so much!
