Oh wow, really nice game! It’s really interesting, fun, and stressful haha. Great job!

Nice prototype !

Thank you for playing!
I’m glad it surprised you.

Thank you !
Glad you played it until the end

Oh my god, that was hard! Really well executed, with great level design and some cool moves to master.
Before level 7 I was thinking, ‘wow, this game is easy, only 2 deaths so far.’ Then… 150 deaths later, I finally made it to the end.
Well done !

Really fun game! I’m amazed by the level of polish you achieved in such a short time.
I did notice that the car’s hitbox felt a little off, sometimes I didn’t get hit when I thought I should have in the front, and other times I did get hit when I felt like I shouldn’t have at the back. Also, I think the music didn’t loop, because around 300 steps it stopped playing.

That said, I really like the concept, and the plant mechanic was a really clever addition. It made the gameplay more interesting and unique. Great work!

Haha, too bad, you almost won! (just kidding, there’s no alternate ending)

Thanks for committing though, otherwise you would’ve missed the part that actually took me the most time during this jam.

I hope the whole experience felt original to you !

Thanks for playing, glad you liked it!

I didn’t realize you had to click the screen first for the web version, good to know. Thanks for pointing that out, I’ll keep it in mind for next time!

Gosh, the frustration of this game again...

The bomb minigame was a little slow for me, I think it could be sped up just a bit, but honestly, I really loved it anyway. I really enjoy the continuity with the previous game, it adds a lot of depth to the story.

I had a lot of fun playing, and I hope you had just as much fun making it!

Fun little puzzle, nice work. I like the way you used the theme.

It was pretty fun to play. The start felt a bit slow in my opinion, but once it got going, the numbers grew really fast.  Nice work!

At some point, the reward of losing is better than winning. Some number formatting could help make the big numbers easier to read, but after 1e20 it switches to scientific notation.

Wow, simple and effective. I can really see that you worked on the game feel. That felt great to smash those characters with my head haha. I love to see that kind of polish for the short time frame.

A neat game, i like the idea, with more level variety that's a game I would love to play on my phone.

It was really fun!

Oh god, the control... it was a nice challenge, ahah. A good amount of frustration, but not too much, so I still want to try again.

A funny game!

Hey, thanks a lot for playing, and congrats on winning!

Yeah, the difficulty curve definitely needs some tweaking. I tried different setups, but some made it way too hard, and I still wanted a proper win condition instead of just a timed survival.

Totally agree on the keyboard shortcut for upgrades, that’s something I’d add for sure if I work on this game again.

I wanted to keep the motivation going from the triple jams, but now I’ll take a little break for a couple of weeks to focus on the previous rails game.

Thanks a lot! Really happy to hear the improvements paid off.

I had a few more ideas to make the game feel even better, but time got in the way. (And yeah… I totally forgot to make the dynamite actually blow up. realized it after the 3 hours were up! That might be the first thing I add next week.)

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed the update, the triple reverse gem is my personal favorite too.

As suggested during the live, I’ll work on making the track rules clearer and improving the explanations.

Really happy to read your comment, it means a lot!

Thanks a lot! Really happy you liked the new version.
I had more idea but didn't got time to put them all 😅

It’s really fun, I already loved it before, and now it’s even better.

I really like those upgrades. But at some point, I get the impression that the difficulty stops increasing, and there are no more upgrades or repairs.

My best score is currently : 27.25km

And now I'm impressed that you solved the game without being able to switch track.

You can click on the track to make it switch.

But I agree that it is not intuitive, but I didn't find a way to make it obvious that this functionality exists.

I still love the idea. it's so effective.

The new mechanics are really fun. Everything is so well put together. I had a good time playing it this time again.

Thank you for your comment!

I really enjoyed developing this game, so there is a good chance that I will finish it.

Thank you for playing the game again!

I'm glad you had fun.

The screenshots are not the answer, the tracks that are in them are voluntarily wrongly placed. The solution displayed in my screenshot won't work.

It is an interesting solution you got there. It's what I like with games like that, there are a lot of possible solutions.

Thank you for the nice comment 😊.

Testing today, with a fresh mind, I too miss-clicked and erased all the track. Indeed, the UI can be improved. I didn't have this problem when developing it because I used the shortcut 'F'.

We will work on that for next week!

Thank you for your comment!

I think that it would be a great idea to port this game to mobile!

You can remove a track with a right click, or I didn't understand your problem correctly.

(Edit: I tried playing it on my phone and now understand the pain, of not being able to remove tracks. I will see next week if i can fix that for mobile !)

Thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback! Really glad you enjoyed it.

Totally agree, the level design definitely needs smoother progression. I only had time to throw in my test level, so things ended up a bit rushed.

I love your suggestions ! I’ll see what I can do with that for the next jam :)

Thanks man, glad you liked it!
The pixel art isn’t mine though.

Hey, thanks for the comment!
Yeah, I definitely need to make things clearer in the game itself, haha. I’ll try to improve that in the second part!

Thanks for the feedback!
You're totally right, the default speed is a bit too slow, as it is no very useful to make it this slow.
And yeah, adding a way to restart the train when things go wrong is a great idea.

Thanks!

I think I may have focused a bit too much on polish and mechanics, and not enough on the actual gameplay and level design.

I really like the atmosphere, it's such a lovely experience!

Thanks for playing !
I'm glad you had fun playing it.
I spent most of my hours just in the polish.

Thanks for playing ! Glad you had fun.

I like the atmosphere of your game.
It's really a beautiful experience.

Congratulations on making this!

The art is absolutely amazing! I love the atmosphere of the game. I'd love to see it developed further.

Great idea! I like the game,  it's a bit overwhelming at first, but I finally got a score of 5.

The best score is 529

Nice idea

Nice game ! I like the art.
