I added a menu system with Spanish / English language selection.
I also included an animated intro with written text, available in both languages, shown at the start of the game.
For now, there is one playable level, but I’ve been working a lot on the enemies, making several adjustments to fix and improve different bugs.
The music is not ready yet, but since the last update the game already includes sound effects. Additionally, since the last update, cooldowns for abilities have been added, along with a mana system and chests containing mana and health potions.
The entire project is developed by me: from the sprites and backgrounds, programming, sound selection and editing, all the way to the game’s story.
I’ll keep updating as development continues. Thanks for the feedback!

Agregué un sistema de menús con opción de idioma Español / Inglés. También incorporé una introducción animada con texto, disponible en ambos idiomas, que se muestra al comienzo del juego.
Por ahora el juego cuenta con un único nivel jugable, pero estuve trabajando bastante en los enemigos, realizando distintas modificaciones para corregir y mejorar varios bugs que se estaban presentando.
La música aún no está lista, pero desde la última actualización el juego ya cuenta con efectos de sonido. También se agregó cooldown para el poder, un sistema de maná, y cofres que contienen pociones de maná y de vida.
Todo el proyecto está desarrollado por mí: desde los sprites y fondos, la programación, la selección y edición de sonidos, hasta la historia del juego.
Seguiré actualizando a medida que avance el desarrollo. ¡Gracias por el feedback! ✌️

Broder i've been using it and so far it's working very well. I wanted to let you know that there's a problem with Ctrl+Z on duplicate frames. If I duplicate a frame, modify it several times, and then press Ctrl+Z to undo a line while making changes, it deletes the image created by duplicating the other frame. The modifications remain in the duplicated frame, but the image of the duplicated frame is lost.
The game currently has sound effects, and a artist friend of mine is working on some dungeon synth music that I’ll be adding soon 🤩. The last update includes firewalls cooldown, mana, chests, potions, and an end-of-level checkpoint. Next up are more levels, bosses, and enemies. I’ll keep updating it ✌️

December just started, so I'm making this game public to begin testing. I’ll keep updating it as I make progress. In the meantime, I’ll keep reading comments here and on TikTok — so far people have shared great ideas! Right now you can use the demons to fly. I’ve been thinking about adding a spawn system for both skeletons and demons, maybe even summoning for the latter. I might also add some tower-defense mechanics.
If you try it out, let me know in the comments what you think. For now, there’s no objective, no timer, and no mana cost for the fireballs. My goal is to release a playable version before the end of the month. It’s not exactly a challenge, but I manage 42 residential buildings for work, and with the holidays and long weekends, December is pretty hectic. I even picked up an extra hour per day at work — but that’s no excuse. Let’s just say this month comes with increased difficult

I’ve put together a set of free pixel-art enemy assets. Yesterday i posted a floating demon and a few days ago posted a skeleton.
The floating demon includes animations for hovering, shooting acid from its eye, the projectile itself, the projectile impact, and its death.
The skeleton comes with idle, start-walk, walk, get-hit, attack, and death animations.
I plan to release at least one more free enemy soon. I’m also using these assets to build a small browser-playable demo (mobile-friendly as well), both to showcase how the enemies look in-game and to keep learning Godot as I develop.

Armé algunos assets en pixel art para compartir de forma gratuita. Ayer publiqué un demonio flotante y hace unos días un esqueleto.
El demonio tiene animación de flotar, escupir acido por el ojo, está la animación del proyectil, la del proyectil golpeando y la del demonio muriendo. El esqueleto tiene animación idle, start walk, walk, get hit, atack, death. Pienso subir al menos 1 enemy más de forma gratuita. A los mismos assets ya los estoy usando para preparar un juego playable in browser, compatible con celular a modo de demostración de los assets y también para seguir aprendiendo programación en Godot.

That's why I put together a set of pixel-art skeleton sprites — enemy or not, you can use them however you like. You've crashed in the worst place imaginable: a hidden military base deep in the mountains.
In BugaAlien (Full Game) your mission is to survive, explore the base, collect the power stones, and find a new ship to escape. The base is crawling with soldiers, robots, traps, and all kinds of threats.
Alongside it, I’ve released a short standalone prequel demo, playable in the browser.
In this prequel your objective is completely different: you infiltrate the base on purpose. Your mission is simple—get in, destroy the alien evidence, and get out before anyone notices. It’s a tighter, more focused experience that reveals what happened before the crash of the main game

Este es mi segundo juego completo.
Te caíste en el peor lugar posible: una base militar escondida en lo profundo de las montañas.
En BugaAlien (Juego Completo) tu misión es sobrevivir, explorar la base, recolectar las piedras de poder y encontrar una nueva nave para escapar. La base está llena de soldados, robots, trampas y todo tipo de amenazas.
Junto a esto, publiqué una precuela corta independiente, jugable en el navegador.
En esta precuela el objetivo es completamente diferente: entrás a la base a propósito. Tu misión es clara—infiltrarte, destruir la evidencia alienígena y salir sin ser detectado. Es una experiencia más breve y enfocada que muestra lo que ocurrió antes del accidente del juego principal
Two weeks ago I released my game BugaAlien. You crash into a military base hidden deep in the forest, and your goal is to find a ship and the special stones needed to power it. It features 6 playable levels and is available for Windows.
I originally made the game in Unreal Engine 5, but after publishing it I felt the page needed something playable right there on the site. So I got to work: I spent the last two weeks learning Godot and creating this short playable prequel, available both on mobile and PC.
This new version is included on the game’s page, but it’s not the same game. It has some gameplay and mechanic differences, yet I managed to keep it connected to the main story—and I’m really happy with the results I achieved in Godot.

Let me know what you think in the comments.The player character is cute and moves smoothly. I like it! The projectiles and the ground/walls lost their sprite — they’re showing the Godot robot face instead. The projectile speed is good, it’s faster than the player’s movement. The only thing is, maybe because of the missing image, it looks like it’s spawning from too far back.
Looks like it’s gonna be good!

I’ve been working on a short 2D platformer called BugaAlien, and I’d love to get some honest feedback to help polish it up.
About the game:
You crash-land on a human military base hidden in the mountains, and now you have to fight your way out. The main goal is to find three hidden stones scattered across different maps. Once you’ve got them all, you’ll need to find a ship, load everything up, and take off — if you can survive what’s waiting for you there.

Sobre el juego:
Te estrellas en una base militar humana escondida en las montañas, y ahora tenés que abrirte paso para escapar. El objetivo principal es encontrar tres piedras ocultas repartidas en distintos mapas. Una vez que las tengas todas, tendrás que encontrar una nave, cargar todo y despegar — si es que lográs sobrevivir a lo que te espera ahí.

Although I’m new to the platform, I can say that finishing my game in four months —with a move in between— took a huge amount of time. I had a band a few years ago, and not generating significant income doesn’t mean it’s just a hobby. Personally, I approach it as if it were my job. Some days, after working full-time in administration, I sit down to develop for the same number of hours… sometimes more, sometimes less. A lot of that time I spend watching tutorials, reading official documentation… It’s practically as if someone were paying me. Yesterday, just hours after publishing my first game, I picked up another 3D project I had left behind due to lack of skills. So no — developing video games isn’t a hobby. If anything, it’s an activity or a job with passive income potential
