i rated this before the final ranking and i feel the final narrative ranking is well deserved, the game is super charming, and fun, and the jokes are so silly and lighthearted!

this game is super interesting, the clone theme was pretty big this jam but from the games i've rated this one wins it for me
there is a ton of strategy to employ between rounds that it almost feels like playing in a miniature war planning counter attacks and such
i love the story as well
however, the game lacks alot of clarity, when reaching check points, which side you are currently on, when your character has died etc
that aside, good work great game!
this is a 10/10 for me, super creative gameplay loop, the sounds and visuals portray the fun of playing with nobs in a really accurate way, and they whole mystery of the entire thing
i love trying to figure out what each button does while speculating what it all means, how the sound changes as you play, really cool
i feel this can also be turned into a really really cool horror game, just make it say some spooky stuff when at certain clarities and you've got something really good
im not sure if there is more to the game, i've manage to get a few bars past the red section, if there is an ending to the game i would love to know
super amazing game, i really like it, would love to see this expanded in the future!
interesting game, it kinda gets a bit chaotic with a lot of planets around but it's puzzling
i love the character art, especially the halo/hardhat that's a really cool idea
i like how you can shoot planets from two sides to make the resulting planet move slower, but i feel the aiming can sometimes get in the way of the puzzles, being a bit unpredictable when trying to get the a planet in it's orbit
everything about this game is hilarious , i love the random rats exploding everywhere, the cat jump-scare, and the voice acting and the rat pngs
i do wish the gameplay had a bit more depth specifically when it relates to the theme, the rotating rat pile should have been explored a bit more gameplay wise, maybe shooting a rat in constantly spinning direction idk
really funny game tho awesome work
Kinda assumed they'd be some idle games this jam, being a kind repetitive. this one is very good
i love how the car are almost imperceptible at the highest speeds
it has a satisfying loop to it, tho i feel like the car shops should have been just ui, not on the track it self
i played this a bit too much
i really like this one, the art the characters, the story and the world (idk what the loopy purple thing is but i wanna know),the little butt shake some of the characters do while typing is really cute, i love how each character has their own job, both in the ship and game
the game took a bit to figure out, maybe the learning process can be stream lined a bit more but i had fun figuring it out
and despite being a pretty simple puzzle the surrounding events and split rooms makes it pretty engaging
really cool game!
this is amazing it really captures the janky spider man ps2 style and comedy, plus the whole serialized super hero show parody is really funny, "metal man vs meat man" is the dumbest and best combo of characters to do this with
i love the voice acting, especially the way the goons speak over each other but don't stop when already past them so they just fade out, that and the cutting out of their voice when they die, really good stuff
for the future tho, i'd try to make the chain punching more consistent and make the meatballs not push the player around, it ended a few runs of mine.
still, really amazing game!!
(meat over magnet... such a subtle refrence...)
this game executes the pretty simple premise of "do the level again with you you clone this time" really well, i especially like the 100 shot walls that make a frantic button mashing moment with all of your clones, the sense of clone teamwork really shows here it's pretty neat
unfortunately there is some issue with the clones that causes them to miss certain jumps so they break alot of setup, this became a big issue in the level where you need 4 clones on each button, 4 as jump pads, 2 for the first two button clones and 2 for the final clone and the mine clone
that aside i feel like the jump pad clones should have infinite uses, it would make the inconsistency a bit less of an issue
still, really good game!
as a person who likes hard platforming games i enjoyed this, the presentation works well and platforming is really solid
a few notes,
the turning around at the beginning of the loop is really disorienting especially for a game you restart a lot
not such a fan of the fake platforms, they're a bit too subtle and are introduced a bit too early
i also feel like for a start the platforms need to be a bit more wide, to account for player error
otherwise i like the fact that you can jump on walls while riding them the way the story was executed
the rock paper scissors took me by surprise
good work
really cute game! i love that you can name the dog, i like the art style and the way the story fits into the gameplay
the stun from being hit feels a bit too long, and it's kina hard to judge when you need to jump sometimes
also there is a bug where if you restart at the right movement you get to go before the time starts
good job!
thank you! and yeah i agree, sound effects are planned for the future, including a sound when a loop and or hour passes, i think for the single click ghost objects i might add a feature that makes then unclickable for at least an hour
as for the plant it was made into a ghost object after it's art was done and getting two hitboxes that close seemed like a bad idea
i like the style and the writing, it's meshes really well with the way the gun sounds, the art of the game and the whole dying to bouncing bullets
but i can't say i really like the shoot to move mechanic , it meshes really badly with the bouncing bullets killing you and often the way to avoid a bullet is to fire another that can then kill you
i like the core idea but i feel like it can work with normal movement speed, possibly leaning more into timing the loopy gun, and possible making some form of loop with bullets idk
great work either way!
cute game, i love the artstyle
i feel like the drifting should be a bit tighter, it takes a while to drift and you have to do a full loop to get anything from it, maybe allow half loops to give boosts
i managed to get the cat with the gun but idk why the menu popped up so that needs some clarity
not sure if the decimal score is intentional but if not id look if you used a float where something should have been an int
Cute game, i really like the style and presentation of it, the main character being a "Cool square" is executed really well, for a heavily rushed game it has some good puzzles.
as for feedback, the shifting camera doesn't quite work for a game like this where the edges of the map are important, while i do like it as a stylistic choice it's not the right place for it, same goes for the red square following, when it snap around it looks a bit off
finally i would have made the entering the exit door automatic, for speed and such
good job!
Cute game, i like the way each level introduces a new track for the music, alto i do wish the music itself had some more impact on the gameplay(blocks moving to the beat etc)
the muting and unmuting of stuff was fun to play around with, reminds me alot of incredible
on the bad side the collisions are a bit off and the music get a bit jarring around the 5th or 6th track
also when the third track started is was like "that accent seems familiar"
then i read the names, and understood why it was familiar
Cool game, the presentation is well done
but it kinda loses it's charm pretty fast when you play slower and the pink wizard moves less as well
but i feel it has some potential
i think if the player had some motivation to move and shoot other than the pink wizard they would be a bigger threat
i like the bouncing projectiles and large hitboxes making up for the fact that the pink wizard can't aim toward the player
also i think in the movement code you are using Input.GetAxis instead of Input.GetAxisRaw, i made a small top down test game and got the same floaty movement with only GetAxis, GetAxisRaw fixed it
something about the janky way the bird moves and the way cars just snap into right angles is really funny to me
that and the audio of the people getting hit, especially when it overlaps a ton of times
Gameplay wise i think it would have been better to change the angle of the camera and remove the crosshair camera thing, it doesn't quite do it's job as a way to aim
anyways, good work!
really cool game, the main game play loop is really interesting. it's a cool way to make a tower defense game and i can see a lot of ways to expand this idea
i think i would really enjoy this game if the controls were given some more time
currently everything is WAY too slow and the fact that you can't move the claw side to side while descending makes it really though
but i think that's all that's keeping it from being incredibly fun!
