Thanks for playing! If you tap enough biscuits that door should eventually open.

I didn't want players to feel lonely, thanks for playing!

ok this is great, although as others have said it really really really needs a mouse sensitivity setting. The counter says I got 188 biscuits, are there more? I did both the white puzzles, but nothing happened when I reached the end of the left one, is that a bug?

I now have a totally rational fear of robot spiders...

One thing I noticed though is that some went down with 1 hit (nice, keeps combat snappy and responsive) but others seemed to take more - do some spiders take more hits than others or was I just missing those shots?

Some nice mechanics and they're used in interesting ways, but it's too difficult at times to understand what's going on! I did eventually complete the game, and I think a lot of what others have described as bugs are just weird things that are meant to happen in the game but aren't really explained. Some clearer instructions (including which button to press to switch worlds!) and some visual indicator of which world you're in would go a long way.

Fun idea. At first I thought it was way too hard, but then I learned how to be more tactical with leaning and timing my movements to push boxes into safe areas, but then I got to the level with like 4 sentries...  The platforms are all too high to jump onto, so presumably you have to climb onto the biscuit boxes but greedy me had already ate them all!

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you found the world outside the biscuits!

This game quacks

Congratulations on getting the first submission in the jam! (mine was 2nd)

It's a nice platformer, some of the jumps are quite challenging but the generous checkpoints make that ok. Some parts are a bit too dark to see properly, like at the end I fell because I couldn't see the stairs. The voiceover is cool, but hard to hear what it's saying sometimes. Was that a professional actor?

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing! The code for the door in the server room is hidden somewhere, but if you can't find it you might just have to click biscuits forever...

Thanks for playing, I haven't experienced that bug, I shall have to investigate.

Fun sort of stealth adventure thing, good boy! The CRT filter is a bit much at times, is there an option to turn it off?

Love the cheesy R&B. I was confused when I won because the win screen is almost the same as the lose screen so I thought I'd died.

I hate it when biscuits try to steal my chicken. I couldn't work out what the Caring Chickie did.

Nice little game, the controls could do with some tweaking, particularly air control.

The jokes were so bad I cashed out at zero. I think that makes me the real winner.

Why does my biscuit have a furball in it?

Yeah, my aim was to try and keep it subtle to make players feel like they'd discovered something secret, but it's difficult to pull something like that off with the short play time of a game jam. Thanks for playing!

A fun platformer, but there didn't seem to be many cookies, it was usually very easy to get them all before the time ran out.

Thanks for playing!

I just gained 5000 calories from playing this game

The NPCs really seem to love smashing up my beautiful car

A fun idea, I'd like to see more than just the one level. It could be helpful to display the floor number too to give more of an idea of your progress.

I also made a not-just-a-cookie-clicker with a very similar name!

As an English person I hate it when a giant onion gets between me and my biscuits!

Thanks for playing, sound always seems to be the thing I leave till last and don't get time to finish properly in game jams!

Thanks for playing, I wanted to mess with people's expectations a bit, but yeah, some people might miss that and think they're just playing a super basic game about tapping biscuits!

Thanks for playing, I was aiming to create something surprising so people go in not knowing what to expect, but the risk is that some players might miss the clues and think it's nothing more than a basic clicker! Glad you worked it out in the end.

You play precision platformers with keyboard? Are you a masochist? 😬 (btw I did complete the game eventually and didn't really rate it 1 star!)

Thanks for playing!

I've not experience that, what system are you playing on?

Thanks for the recommendation, that look just like my kind of game

The jump in difficulty from the 0.5x level to the 1x is just too much, those damn spikes just made me rage quit and rate you 1 star😡😡😡 Nice game, good job 👍

It would have been good if controllers were supported as the super precise platforming required is quite tricky with keyboard.

Story mode doesn't seem to work, but infinite mode is fun, although it could be better if the difficulty could be gradually increased as the player progresses.

Activating enemies to use their abilities is a nice idea. It could be helpful if they would deactivate after a bit, as there were parts where I accidentally awoke a saw that I needed to jump on.

I couldn't complete it - every time I brought the recipe to the door it wouldn't open and Betty would pop up out of nowhere and kill (eat?) me. Is that meant to happen?

Is it possible to make the million? The only way I was able to make money was through insider trading, and even then the highest I could manage was $110,000. I'm tempted to go back and try a new strategy, but the intro text just takes far too long.

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing! Most testing was on a fairly beefy gaming PC and windowed, I think the FOV issue is only noticeable in full screen. I used the standard settings for Unity's built in first person camera, in future I'll need to add an option to adjust it.
