love the soundtrack and the audio! i think some of the visuals were a little confusing with how the game was lit, and i found myself running into things fairly often. like others have said, i think the link to the theme is a little weaker, but the actual shooting and movement felt good. very impressive for one person to put out!

really interesting idea to have previous playthroughs affect future ones! i wish there were more instances throughout the game of that coming up, as it felt a little underutilized. i'm also not 100% sure where the "risk it" for the theme comes in, but the biscuit was a cute inclusion! making a visual novel in such a short time is definitely impressive, and the writing was well done! it felt slightly long for a jam game, tho that feels impressive for such a short jam. overall, great job!
this reminds me so fondly of old flash games! something like exploding kitten. the music sounds so familiar - like a slowed down version of that one daft punk song from random access memories? either way, i think this is such a fun idea! only note is i wish there were like powerups i could get or something that would make each run a bit different!
really like the ideas here! the art style is distinctive and stylish, the audio fits nicely, and the idea of tying platforming mechanics to rock paper scissors is great. only thing is that the actual buttons to use aren't the most intuitive, so i found myself struggling to move and use abilities and jump at the same time, which some of the level design required
such a beautiful and unique idea for a game with this theme! love the art, and the mechanics of how the world loop are so interesting to me. i'm still wrapping my brain around how it works exactly, and i love that. others have mentioned, but the camera switching is a bit strong, but i think the level design and base of this game are so good and extensible
really clever and addicting game! like the unique enemy design mechanically. only thing that wasn't 100% clear to me was if the powerups were good for me so i avoided them for a while until i accidentally hit one and realized it was a bonus! i also think those felt like very different levels of strengths (shield >>>> speed). overall, really really enjoyed it, genuinely great game for the theme!!
the artwork and sound design is so good! really love the intro classic spy vibes, but i wish it was skippable for when you lose. very simple and elegant gameplay loop that is fun to play! mechanically, i wish i didnt have to hold right click and left click at the same time. again, really impressive art and vibes tho :)
there's so much in this game! i'm really impressed with everything you were able to implement. i thin it was a little too complex for something like this, and i felt confused for a while. i think that the tutorial and how to play sections could've been a little more intuitive. i think the art is really good and fits a factory theme! i wish the color palette of the machines had a little more variety, to make it clearer which machine is which once it's placed. overall, im really impressed so much was able to be introduced in such a short time, but i think some things could've been communicated a bit more clearly!
it's cute! trying to get them in is pretty fun. i feel like while the mechanic is intuitive, sometimes the potato would just go through my wall and i didn't understand why. i also felt like it was a little confusing why it would sometimes bounce the way i'd expect, and other times would be kinda odd.
this game is pretty! i think it's really well designed and polished. mechanically, the arrow keys controls didn't work for me, and i felt that the speed was a bit counterintuitive - it felt like i slowed down as i tried to go faster towards the edges, and that made it hard to ever get anything on the edges.
biggest issue however is it has nothing to do with the theme - there's no potatoes!
i think the theme is really fun! it genuinely feels fun to move around the space, which is the most important thing. with the way the level is set up, i didn't ever feel the difficulty of the chef - it was pretty easy to path straight to the green cube and then to the door. maybe there could be multiple cubes or the cubes isn't right next to the player?
this was a blast! i used to love these flash games, and it felt like a real blast from the past. the art was really cute and totally popped for this genre of game. it's really smart to make something like this.
i think that there's something weird going on with the physics - sometimes mid flight my potato would speed up out of nowhere or switch directions. i also think it's too easy to slightly nick something and go flying backwards, which meant most of my runs ended up over before they'd begun. i also think there could be other potato themed obstacles or objects that had an impact on the jump other than just bouncing off of them. maybe there's a spatula that flings you forward if you hit it or maybe there are some clouds in the sky that let you keep bouncing up high or a fryer that makes you stop immediately if you land in it.
overall i really enjoyed! such a smart choice
i love the art and the idea! it's such a cute concept and i enjoyed all the characters. i feel like this is a really strong concept, and i can't wait to see where you take it, if you do!
understanding that i had to drag the potato on the very edge of the screen instead of over the button took me a while to figure out. i also felt like there was little to no time to actually get the order complete for a given customer, which meant it was very hard to fulfill orders. also agree that there's a lot of downtime between customers. i wish the mechanics were a little more engaging, since there's little to no gameplay variety or arc to the game
once i figured out how to make it work, i had a good time! some of the upgrades made a big difference, but some of them seemed to make little to no difference, especially the higher pusher speeds past the first one. i didnt understand what the goal was or how to get things to work for a while. i think making a little treadmill where the fries move over to the trays would help, cause i didn't know how to get them there at first. also there were major frame rate issues once i got everything upgraded
really impressive! the core loop was fun, if a little confusing at first. it was satisfying to sacrifice those humans, and the song was so good. i think visually, the scene was a little dark and it made it tough at times. i wish i was able to upgrade my carrying capacity, both for blood and for seeds. the speed with which humans were made meant it never really made sense for me to use more than 3 incubators at a time, since i couldn't really make use of anything else
