That is only 22.5%, is that normal?

I have no idea what Mario World is... I don't do NES, can't stand their games. I see.

I don't know how many joined, but I got mine ready with just over thirty minutes to spare!

Only nine people submitted games?! I wonder why that is so few. I even posted about this jam on my Facebook.

Thank you!

Thank you!

Ah, you found a bug! I'll fix that later, if I continue the game, and it looks like I will! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yes, Arkanoid! One of the first games I ever got for my Amiga 500! I love that game. In the plans were more enemies, like those found in Arkanoid, but I got sick and lost four days of work, then had technical issues. But, I got a playable version done with just over thirty minutes to spare!

Also, I love your game. <3

Thank you! I did not have time to add polish, the bricks are gray so I can tint them. I was sick for half of the jam, that was unplanned. I was also going to have moving bricks, and more enemies (Some from Arkanoid). If people like the game, I'll continue working on it! It looks like I will continue the game! I'm glad you like it! I made all the graphics myself, sounds too. I made a tool to make vector type graphics for my arcade games that I use to make the rocks/ships/ect. The vector type graphis are done using 3D lines. If you look in the Models folder, you will see 'vec' files, those are a file type I made for my library.

Yeah, the game will run on a potato, it is all C++/C. It will even run on Linux using WINE. (I have a Linux box too) The sound effects take up the majority of space. If I turn off the frame rate limiter, it runs at several thousand FPS on my old Gaming computer. It will match your monitor frame rate up to 120FPS.

Also, I did not get the highscore working, that is why the one on the right is always zero.

I'm one of those people that turn off music in games after I've heard it. There is a reason most movies and TV shows have sound in space, it adds to the entertainment value. Just a sound effect, explosion hearing lover's opinion of course.

The controls need work, too difficult to move and chat color at same time. Polish it up and it should be fun. You're mashing up Tretress and what other game? Sorry to hear you were sick, I was too, the second day in I could not work on my game for like four days.

The game opens on my second monitor, instead of on my main and I could not get it to work, so I can't play it, sorry. If it ran Windows mode, I could just drag it over. There is a way to force your game to run on primary display when you build it, or have the option to run in Windowed mode.

I could not figure out how to play, how to eat... Some instructions would have been nice, or at least a hint. What games is this supposed to mash together?

I'm not sure what the mashup is, it seems to be just Snake with added story and cutscenes. Also the snake is supposed to slowly speed up as well as get larger as you get the item, in Snake.

I love DigDug, and you mixed in the Lemmings! As well as added some of your own things, nice. I really like this one.

This is great, good job.

I could only find one asteroid. Cute game, too bad you can't turn off the music. It also seems to be missing sound effects, that to me is way more important that music.

For some reason, I can only get the game to run on my secondary monitor, so I can't play it.

I don't know what to tell you. I extrated it, ran the exe, and it said that folder was not found. I renamed the folder, than it worked. Wait, it looks for a folder with the exe name? o.o Put that in the notes. I did rename it to MiniBasic, I meant to rename the shortcut, but did the wrong one. x.x Sorry.

(1 edit)

You have the MiniBasic_Data folder with the wrong name, or it is looking for a folder with the wrong name. I had to rename the folder to "MiniBasic_Data" it was "Mini Micro_Data" but your app looks for the first one.

Huh, interesting. A game that just ends. Love the setting, chickens, graphics are nice too.

Thank you for making it so I can just remove the music files to turn off the music. ^.^

Being able to go backwards and the ship does not drift, it comes to a stop quickly, so that changes that dynamic too. Still fun.

The artwork is amazing, except purple would have been better than green as the theme color. I'm partial to purple. :)

Your game is fun, and visually cool.

Your game is pretty cool.

I've used this tool on my video games I've created since I found out about it around 2016, love it.

Thank you! Yeah, it is. My secondary monitor is Monitor 1, where my primary is 0. The windowed mode would be awesome! Thank you! I play most my games in Windowed mode anyway. I know not everyone has a 32" WQHD monitor and a 27" WQHD, but they are more every day with larger monitors.

The game runs on my secondary monitor only, and it is in a vertical orientation. Please add windowed mode, ask what monitor to run on, or have it not run on monitor 2 please.

Also, on a 32" monitor is is HUGE. So Windowed mode would be great.

I can't get it to work in Windowed mode on Ryzen 4500U laptop. There is no volume for audio/music, please add.

There seems to be a bug in two player though. Very cool otherwise, great unofficial port.
There are three ships shown and when one of the player ships gets hit, one of those three ships get removed, even though each player has three ships. A bit confusing.

There needs to be something between 101 and 110. It is like going from above normal to below normal without normal.

Fun so far.

Hi, please add a windowed mode, or have that the default. You run it in full screen with low settings, and I don't see a way to change that. That messes up my second monitor, everything is pushed off the side. I can't play it like this.

It could be, he made it in Unity, and he has win in the download demo file name.

Only real gamers have gamepads. ^.^

If you start from a stop, full gas for a second with full stear, then let off the gas the car straightens out and skids. Very strange.
