If you get caught, the screen turns black, and you hear Luigi crying. You then have to restart the game from the beginning.

Anyways, it's nice to see another TF game from you. Here are my thoughts:
-I like how the game introduces the exposure mechanic, which increases the chance of people getting suspicious of your current state unless you buy certain gears from the vending machine to hide your transformed body. If people start getting suspicious, you are forced to spend your energy to hide yourself from the others.
-Money is more important, as you must use it to not only gain energy, but to buy gears to reduce the exposure level.
-It's interesting to see that while the player character in "The Fox Amulet" wants to find the cure to the fox curse, the player character in "The Raptor Strain" seems to be interested in gaining a new form after getting exposed to the raptor DNA. This is evidenced by the game's normal ending, where the player is happy that they are human again, but the game is like, "Is this what you really want?" While I prefer the normal and boring ending (permanent TF is a no-no for me), your mileage may vary.
-The game has a lot of replayability. I liked to challenge myself on subsequent playthroughs to see whether I can beat it under the following conditions: getting an ending without progressing past stage 0 of the TF sequence, beating the game without buying anything, beating the game by seeing as many dialogue in the game as possible, etc..
-Just like the previous game, I liked seeing the different dialogue on the bottom of the screen that shows what the player character is trying to do while they in their transformed state (scale sliding along their clothes while they are moving, the player trying to avoid their tail bumping into things, the player's clawed feet making clicking sounds as they walk, etc.).
If you are planning on updating your game, I would like it if certain events change depending on the player's current state. For example, in your previous game, when the player was 100% human or mostly human, they would not be able to interact with a mysterious figure in the forest and would gain minimal rations if they drink water. But when they have partially succumbed to the fox curse, they would be able to interact with the figure and would gain more rations if they drink water. Maybe in "The Raptor Strain," you can make it so that they'll be able to explore the underground area more easily thanks to their new raptor eyes, move some heavy stuff out of the way with their newfound strength, or gain the ability to kill small animals wandering around the facility to gain energy at the cost of humanity.
Here's the TF stages and the various things I found based on several of my playthroughs:
Stage 0: Long, velociraptor-like nails. Your nails are exposed to the public. You must buy gloves from the vending machine to decrease exposure.
Stage 1: Raptor snout. Your snout is exposed to the public. You must buy a face mask from the vending machine to decrease exposure.
Stage 2: Short tail.
Stage 3: Reptilian feet.
Stage 4: Raptor eyes. Your eyes are exposed to the public. You must buy safety googles from the vending machine to reduce exposure. You can now go directly to the Specimen Containment Wing. If you are already there, you can go directly to the living quarters.
Stage 5: Raptor claws. If you are wearing gloves, they will tear apart and become useless.
Stage 6: Raptor feet. Clawed feet is now exposed.
Stage 7: Long tail. Your tail is now exposed. You must buy a lab coat to partially hide it.
Stage 8: Raptor face. You are practically an anthro raptor. Your face mask is no longer useful.
Stage 9: Digitigrade. You now look like the raptors from the "Jurassic Park" franchise. You must buy a lab coat to cover it up partially.
Stage 10: Feathers along your body. You can still play the game, but you can't really do much at this point unless your exposure level's not at 100%. If you are in the genetics lab and have already found a DNA stabilizer to try and cure yourself, you will unlock one of the game's endings.
I liked the story and the voiceover at the intro cutscene. The gameplay felt iffy to me, however. The slash attacks allow the player to clip through the walls, which I used to cheese the cave section of the game. The platform hitboxes were also jank in the cave section as well, so I had a bit of a hard time navigating the level. Lastly, after I defeated the samurai boss, I jumped off the bottomless pit at the end, and...won?
This was still a nice jam submission IMO.
