Thanks for playing! Our next update will have a fix for the leaderboard. Would you like to test out a new build before launch to see if you can still crack it and add a fake score?

Thanks so much for playing and the nice comment! Turns out the web build can get laggy just for some players depending on their setup. This will be fixed in the post-jam update! For now, we recommend the PC build! :)

Had some fun with this one! You asked for some feedback on Discord, so here you go :)

- I think you can accelerate the player movement more. It took some time to get moving, which made the movement not as enjoyable as it could be.

- Sometimes spikes would kill me even though I felt I wasn't close enough for them to. Some leeway for the player is always going to boost enjoyment!

- Waiting for the moving blocks became a bit tedious. If I missed a cycle, I had to wait quite a while for it to come back. Consider making theme blocks that slide back and forth, and up the speed of them.

Overall, this was a great entry. Clearly a lot of heart went into this, and it's a full game! You should be very proud. I think if you work on the movement and some other quality of life fixes, this game will be golden!

A really creative take on the theme! Pretty challenging at times, but that's part of the fun. Loved how everything was a circle, from the level screen, to the menu. Excellent job with this one!

Hi! Saw on the GMTK server that you're looking for some genuine feedback. So here I go!

First of all, this is a really smart interpretation of the theme. So kudos to you! The cup mechanic is something I don;'t think I've ever seen before. Really cool!

Now some feedback:

- I understand why you made C the button for Cup, but I found having E and C be the keys kinda unintuitive. I suggest picking keys that are closer together. Z and X for example.

- I like that I can use WASD or Arrow Keys to move, but you should let players know this. Also, if I can use WASD to move, I should be able to use keys on the right side of the keyboard to interact and use the cup. When it comes to controls, giving players options is always a win.

- I wasn't able to tell if I HAD to wait for the "searching..." animation to finish before moving on, or if I could click it and continue. Maybe some UI to show the searching progress could be helpful (similar to the UI used above guards to show how close they are to spotting you)

- Some fanfare when you find a page would be a nice touch. Just something that lets me know that I've actually found something. I didn't realize I found anything until I looked at the UI in the bottom right corner.

But honestly, most of these are nitpicks. You did an excellent job with this! You should feel very proud :)

Thank you so much for the kind words! We're looking to add more shop upgrades in a future update. Hope you stick around to see what we're cooking up!

Thanks so much for playing and the kind words! A few players have experienced some lag on the web build. We'll have it sorted out in the post-jam build. For now,  we recommend downloading the PC version :)

Banger of a game! Great art, smooth gameplay, and very polished. Excellent job!

Very nicely done! Great art, smooth gameplay, and I love how you give difficulty options. Had a lot of fun with this one! Excellent work :)

I have transcended. All thanks to coffee. 10/10 experience

Nice work! Love me a good clicker. I'll have to put some more time into it later to see just how eerie it gets. Excited to come back to this!

It's tricky to maneuver the snake but I think that's part of the fun! This really feels like an evolution of the original Snake. Fun looping mechanics, nice art, and a funny intro cutscene. I had lots of fun! Excellent job with this one!

Ooh this is a cool one! Love me a clever mechanic and this one delivers. I think with some more tutorialization to ease players into the looping mechanic, this one could be a hit. The art also looks great. Overall, fantastic job!

Hey there! Yeah, that bug appears after restarting the game. It will be fixed soon in the post-jam version of our game. Stay tuned :)

Banger of a game! Amazing art, clever idea, and some surprising depth with the cassette tapes. Amazing job!

Thanks for playing! Some players are experiencing lag on the web build it seems. We'll have it sorted out in the post-jam build. For now,  we recommend downloading the PC version :)

A really clever interpretation of the theme! Had a lot of fun with this one. Excellent job :)

(1 edit)

Thanks for playing! There is lag only for some people on the web build, which we didn't know would happen before submitting. It will be fixed in the post-jam build! For now, we recommend downloading the PC version :)

Gamemaker!

Wow what a cool concept! Saw someone describe it as Tron meets Splatoon, which is the perfect way to put it. The controls felt nice, the style looked good, and the fact that you coded in a CPU during a 4 day jam is impressive. I had fun with this one - awesome job! :)

What a fun puzzler! Had a blast with this one. Fantastic work :)

Thanks for playing and for making such great fonts! :)

Hah! This was lots of fun! And FUNNY! Had me laughing through the whole thing. Amazing job :)

A very fun game! It has a clever mechanic, and a stylistic vibe that's always present in a Squishy Turtle game. It was a bit challenging to wrap my head around at times, but it felt really good to figure out a level. It might be worth tutorializing some of the ways you can use the mechanic to get around, but that's really my only "criticism". Overall, awesome job :)

Okay this is RAD AS HECK! Another banger from Bad Piggy. The art was amazing as usual, the music got my blood pumping, and the gameplay was challenging and enjoyable. Fantastic job!

Crunchy and fun! Plus LOTS of polish. This is great - fantastic work!

Ooh haven't encountered that one yet! We'll take a look an patch it up. Thanks for playing :)

This is cool! The concept is fun.  It can get tricky sometimes, but I enjoyed trying to precisely circle enemies. Awesome job!

The idea of using the looping seasons to change your plant/companion is really smart! The level design ramped up a bit too quickly in difficulty, but they were really satisfying to figure out. You gave me a bunch of "aha!" moments, which is exactly what you want. Also cute art and music. Excellent work!

Thank you so much for playing! Glad you enjoyed!

The browser lag seems to only impact some people for some reason. So we recommend trying out the PC build :)

Wow, merging a card system with a revolver is genius! Super fun battle system. Once I got the hang of it, I was hooked. Fantastic work :)

Yet another banger from Kindanice. Fantastic work, as always!

Wow this is REALLY good! I just love the idea of your past escape attempts making it ever so slightly easier for future escape attempts to succeed. I feel like with more time, that idea could be pushed even further.

The atmosphere and the art are top notch. You freaked me out a few times, and you even found a way to throw in some gags.  Amazing job!

A solid puzzle game! Thought it was going to be easy at first, but then it ramped up in difficulty nicely. This was a fun one! Great job!

The game OOZES with style. Not just the artwork, but the gamefeel of moving around. Hitting a wall is SATISFYING. Getting a good path and collecting stars at just the right angle is *chefs kiss*.

Looks good. Feels good. Is good. Awesome job!

A fun game with polished, punchy mechanics! Very satisfying to kick the animals into the pen. Fantastic work!

Nice! Had fun with this one. Level 1 had me thinking this game would be easy, but once level 2 came, I was surprised by the challenge! It was fun dodging enemies while trying to surround them. Also, I love the lasso effect when enemies try to leave the loop I've made. Had fun with this one. Great job!

Damn that nosy neighbour!

Had a lot of fun with this one. I was jamming out to my tunes by the end. A beat-maker mixed with cookie clicker is a REALLY smart idea. Never imagiend those two genres meshing so well together.

The art was cute. The dialogue was charming. And  the gameplay leaves a smile on your face.

Excellent job!

Had a lot of fun with this! Ended up beating all three levels. The randomness made it hard for sure, but when I was frantically searching for a specific piece and finally got one, it felt really good. Great job!

It's really satisfying dodging bullets and wrapping around enemies! I think I've seen similar ideas, but never in 3D, which adds a lot of flavour and fun to the movement. Plus the style is just awesome (I'm a huge sucker for this style of 3D model). Excellent job!
