Ever wonder why the enterprise has purple lights in some rooms, or where they go to the bathroom? What does those switches do? Where does that turbolift go?  I have 1 year to answer those questions and more. But, i'm just an artist, and I need someone to do the html files running the game. If you like star trek, and have some spare time and want to be the co creator of this project, hop onboard at warp speed

Have you considered using Ren'Py or Twine for your game? A lot less coding required and less files to manage. Just a suggestion ofc.

Never heard of it, bit I have now.  I'll check it out. I'm attempting to vibe code, and its going as well as one would expect. It's a a monkeys paw.

Ren'Py has that visual novel layout you're going for as a default, but Twine may be closer to what you wanted on the backend, as it's specifically for html games. If you choose Twine and need any help, feel free to contact me:) my discord username is the same as here.
