Simple but very fun game (if you ignore the countless accidents I caused).

Developer(+1)

Lol, Thanks for your feedback and glad you like it.

¡Muy buen juego! Es simple pero divertido. Aunque hay que acomodarle la posición a los semáforos pero cuando ya uno le agarra la maña es fácil de jugar. Me gustó este juego!

Developer

¡Gracias, me alegro de que te guste!

So simple yet so fun! It gets wild when a whole bunch of cars spawn. Great game!

I agree with other comments about the traffic lights positions. Once you get to it, you get the hang and start to enjoy it. But since cars are not turning and nothing else happens than cars going in straight lines, it becomes boring quickly. Other than those minor adjustments, congratulations on your first jam! It's a really cool take on the "take control" theme.

Developer

Thanks For Your Feedback i will definitely work on that.

Really great entry for this event well made fits the theme perfectly super quick and easy to pick up looks great and the sound is awesome good job

That’s a really polished game while still hitting the theme of the jam good ratings from me. I never knew controlling traffic lights could be fun hahaha.

Simple is good! But if it’s too simple, it can get stale quickly and players might quit early. Being honest, your idea has a lot of potential to go crazy. Imagine humans trying to cross, lights malfunctioning and you having to fix them. there’s so much you could expand on. Sky’s the limit with this one! :D

Developer

Thanks for your feedback and suggestions, when I will rework on this game i will definitely take a look on your suggestions.

Nice game. It's a bit hard at the beginning, but then I found a super easy way to play - Just stop two parallel lanes and the cars just stand idle at the red light while other vehicles pass, your score grows slowly without you doing anything.

I like the main idea. Also I would change the graphics a bit. Maybe making it 3D would be very good.

Nice work you did there. The art is really good and fun to play, just the position of the traffic lights needed some adjustments but everything else is perfect. Good job.

Ok, the game and the idea are cool, the music loop and the mechanic are interesting, the game is funny but IMO the game could improve much much more with minor updates:

  1. Position of traffic lights. They are usually at the right of the vehicle. It took me a while to readapt my mind to use it at the left.

  2. When you know how it works, it’s extremely easy. There’s no penalty for make 2 ways waiting while the other 2 are open. So the game lacks from excitement after you notice that. It can be easly resolved by adding a condition (if there are “x” number of cars waiting, the player will lose a life and this way will be cleared of cars, with a previous warning, for example).

  3. The game needs progression. Here you have a huge variety of options: increase frequency of cars, timers, objectives, missions (“try to let pass more yellow vehicles”), levels… And also more complex elements (pedestrians, change of direction of cars, etc.).

There’s a minor bug. Sometimes, I don’t know why, a car get stucked in the way from right to left.

I really appreciate your suggestions as this my first jam in which i submit a game and also this was the first game i made with gdevelop so I know this game lacks many things and the minor bug you encounter i will definitely try to solve and will definitely work on your suggestions, Thanks For Your Detailed Feedback and Time.

Wow! Nice game. I like how unique your game is and the overall game design and UI is also very clean. It was amazing! Although a game over screen could have been added but it's pretty good now too.

Developer

Thanks For The Feedback i will work on that.

This game was pretty fun to play! I love the concept, and the only thing I would probably change is the readability of the lights, mainly just making it clear which one is the horizontal vs vertical streets to control the cars. Other than that, keep up the nice work!

Developer

Yeah other people are also telling this ans I will definitely work on that when I will work on the game later.

Great game concept and mechanics. The art direction is solid and I felt every collision. I love how you set up the itch.io page to match the game too, looks nice so I kept that in my gameplay footage too.

The way the lights were set up was a bit confusing and that added difficulty that I couldn't overcome, but I'm not particularly skilled.

Thanks For Your Feedback and the video.

The readability is almost perfect, the only element I would change is having some more clarity on which light is changing which lane, maybe by highlighting the lane, some arrows or clearer placement of the traffic lights. But even from the thumbnail, the game explains itself so clearly, and feels manageable instead of overwhelming. Those GBA-esque graphics are also brilliant. Tight design work here, congrats on this submission.

Yeah I also got this suggestion from other people as well so when I will work on the game after the jam I will definitely add this, And Thanks For Your Feedback.
