This is such a complex entry for a jam very ambitious! But you did great with it! I really enjoyed it! The color palette is really nice as well and feels calming ironically. lol Nice work!

Also I'd appreciate feedback on my submission if you get a chance!

Developer

That is something I realised as I kept making the game. This is my first jam and the biggest thing I have taken away is making sure the scope is possible. I was working non stop every day and submitted the game very late, but this lead to a lack of playtesting, bug fixing and polish on the game, and i think that shows in the game, so I was truly surprised to see everyone enjoying this game, so thank you!

Submitted

Oh yeah! No there were a few bugs, but overall it is really good! I think with some polish and bug fixes you could publish this as complete.

Cool mechanic! Perhaps the game could give the player a bit more feedback because the level gets chaotic after a while and sometimes just ends. Keep it up!

If possible, please consider rating my game too.

Developer

I think your right, i will probably update it making everything features more defined and easier to see. Thanks for the feedback!

very charming art and music and game! I could play this for hours!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much, i'm glad you enjoyed it

Cute art and music! I appreciated that there was a beginning screen with some menu and tutorial options. It seems like there are a couple of known bugs, and the in-game UI could use a bit more polish, but I still enjoyed the bit that I played.

Developer(+1)

Im happy you enjoyed it, i will definitely polish it a bit more once i can update the game.

Nice art style and good game idea! but when i entered the second room, i got blackscreened and i think game crashed

Submitted(+1)

But the game looks really cool and I can see potential to make this game grow further

Developer

Im sorry it black screened

Very interesting idea for the theme, it is chaotic at times, got a bit laggy as well, but it didn't destroy the experience, game me a bit more time to think about my move sometimes haha I like the aesthethics of it, fits the idea well!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, some optimisation is definitely in order.

Submitted(+1)

fits the theme well and the audio/aesthetics are great. it's hard to tell what's going on often but i appreciate that you went for a set of systems that are more complex and interesting.

Developer(+1)

I appreciate that it could get chaotic, i personally enjoyed but that definitely isn't for everyone. I'm glad you like the audio and art as well!

Submitted(+1)

A cool idea, but man I love that art style! especially the color pallete.

If you dont mind, please consider rating my game as well :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the complements, i will try your game

Submitted(+1)

Interesting concept! I like that all the visuals wiggle hehe.

Developer

Im happy you liked the art!

Submitted(+1)

very fun! i was a bit confused at first but got there in the end :D

Developer

Im happy you enjoyed it and understood it eventually

Interesting game, I was a little confused by some things, like the enemies slowing you down, or the upgrades about enemies health before i even saw my first enemy, and the loop mechanic. I think there's a lot of interesting stuff put in this game with a lot of potential, but it could be introduced a little bit smoother maybe. Also i'm a big fan of the color palette of the game!

Developer

Thank you so much, and also thank you for the feedback, when i next update i might put the tutorial in the first run of the game, and im glad you enjoyed the art!

Great take on the theme and fun game to play!

Developer

Im glad you enjoyed it!

I think the way the enemies hinder you by slowing you down (and thus, not allowing you to draw the loop) is a really good piece of design. The art is also very charming!

Developer

Thank you very much for the kind words!

Submitted(+1)

Very nice! I really liked the music choice :)

Developer

Thank you for the compliment!

Interesting idea. The character felt like it slid around a bit too much for me. Great entry though!

Submitted(+1)

Cute idea - something like the old Qix game but a different take on it

Developer

Thank you, Qix seems like a cool game, i hadn't heard of Qix before.

Cool artwork!
I have some black screens without reason.

Developer(+1)

Honestly im not surprised, there are lots of iterations that can kill the game if something goes wrong and i dont know why

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you everyone for taking the time to play and I hope you enjoyed!

If you have any suggestions or ideas, let me know, I plan to keep updating the game.
