It looks really impressive. I just have no idea what I'm doing. It really needs a tutorial, because it's not really clear how the game works. Regardless, the graphics are polished and the art style is cute. Could benefit from some sound effects though.

This is such a cool take on the concept!
The art is adorable and the mechanic is really fun. It was by reading some of the previous comments that I realized that I should have been able to place the followers while they were praying. I kept losing because of how much I had to pause to add new followers to the circle. I also missed entirely the arrow in the instructions book.
Despite that I had a really good time and, with some sound effects/music, this would be an even better experience!

I really liked the idea, but it’s a pity that the controls are somewhat broken. Dragging and dropping cultists to and from the cult rock while they are rotating doesn’t work 70 percent of the time, making you lose time either by trying many more times or by stopping and restarting the rotation, which causes a significant delay in the process. But if you can look past this technical problem, the design is very clever and neat. One of the most creative takes on the loop concept I’ve seen so far in the game jam. The art is also very nice. If the drag-and-drop problem is fixed, and some audio and visual feedback is added to your actions, and a fitting background music is present, this game would be much better than it already is. And already it is a very nice game. Good job.

The art style is cool but it made me miss the next arrow in the help book because it didn't stand out. I was a bit confused playing at first until I checked again and figured out how to go to the next page. Looks obvious now that I see it, but I wonder if other people also unknowingly missed that.  Even after figuring out there were more helpful instructions, the shop mechanic and upgrade are never explained in the help book, so kind of had to figure that out by myself. But maybe people with little experience in these kinds of games will be left even more confused even if it relatively simple.

I don't really understand why the moving prayer has an on and off state, maybe because the drag mechanic doesn't work well when it's moving?  I also had issue dragging the guys directly from the shop into the monsters mouth when I had plenty of currency, it wouldn't always work.

The game just needs a little extra polish in the things I mentioned, but they were not big issues and considering the time limit these things are more than forgivable and very minor. I just hope it helps make it even more great!

You did a fantastic job on the art, the characters were really cute! And I really liked how you implemented the loop theme and came up with a interesting and unique concept.

Thanks for playing!! At this point we are well aware of most of the problems mentioned. Truth is there was little to no polishment and we ended the game in a rush. But with the tweaks mentionned the game would be in a hella more stable state!

This was a lot of fun. I must confess I was a little confused what was going on the first couple times I played, but after reading the description and the in-game book a few times I got the hang of it. I still never won though (is that even possible?). I really liked how you had to make hard decision under pressure. It was quite stressfull, but a lot of fun. Many times I did not really want to sacrifice my people because they were giving me so much stuff, but the timer was running out so I had no choice.

Also really weird but cool take on the theme! This is definitely very unique XD Really well done making this game! I enjoyed it a lot :D

Not the confused beginning though, we get that a lot and I'm glad you played trough it anyway!
The game also doesn't have an implemented ending, but who knows? One day we migth just update

Loved loved LOVED this! Couldn't seem to get past level 7 but really nice to play with the synergies and try out different strategies.

Could never get the "clone" follower to work? Don't know if I was using it right. Also never saw more than one golden follower per game :'(

Going to go back for just one more game...

Really cool concept. The art style was great and I loved the different cultist variations, they added a lot of personality. I’m always a fan of cult-themed games.

I think adding some audio would take the experience to the next level. Even a bit of ambient sound or music could really boost the atmosphere.

cool idea but the start is confusing so i just drag the starter gnome and put it in the monster mouth then i had to restart the page to start again but when you get use on it it will be cool just force the tutorial at start . also please consider to check my game

Great concept and art. Fun to play once I figured it out. After a few cycles I had to sacrifice too many followers and couldn't produce enough fervour to keep up... but maybe that's the point? 😈

Creative concept and really nice art! Although I found the mechanics and details confusing, and the game kind of difficult (I very quickly ran out of followers because I sacrificed them all to appease the mouth), I think the gameplay loop would work really well with more tweaking and a tutorial. Overall, nice work!

Really enjoyed playing this game, artwork is very pleasant. The gameplay idea is innovative and captivating. Difficulty is a bit hard, I don't have the time to read the specificities of the different followers. Maybe add some their description in the tutorial book. So sad there is no music or sound effect.

Overall one of the best game I've tried yet !
