Thanks for playing!

You spotted the Brutal Legends homage.... which is referencing Guns n Roses... which is a take on the axe etc etc XD

Glad you enjoyed it, a lot of time was spent tweaking the UI to get the balance right. If you liked the art check out our artist's other project on steam: Squarepinski.

Thanks for playing!

We did originally have an even more in depth and interactive tutorial in mind but the time crunch hit hard...

Really pleased you spotted the amount of detail we tried to cram in and to keep it all tied together! If you liked the art check our Squarepinski on steam, another project by our very talented artist.

Thanks for playing!

If you liked the art check out our artists game on steam: Squarepinski :)

Thanks for playing!

Mic turned up fashionably late on the third day and was hurriedly put into the game...

If you liked the art our artist has also worked really hard on Squarepinski (check it out on steam) :D

Absolutely gorgeous. More than just a game this is a genuine piece of art.

Amazing that this was made with jam constraints! Really enjoyed it and would love to see how it could be developed further (not that it needs to be). :D

Really really enjoyed playing around with this one! Genius take on the theme; my only request would be some form of gamification? But to be honest, was happy to make spirals :D

Nice! Enjoy me an upgrade game and this ticked many boxes.

Original take on the theme and nicely put together :)

I really enjoyed this! Five stars across the board :D

Great concept, nice art, well executed and polished. Really impressed that this was completed in a jam.

Once I got the hang of it this was super fun! Great concept really well executed; got lots of joy from just trapping all the traffic into a giant loop...

Really enjoyed this game. Chill vibes, nice concept, clean execution and all round polished :)

Absolutely love the artwork, big props to your artist! Really tied the game together.

"I went to the shops and I bought...."

Who knew childhood camping games would prep me for this very specific game jam entry? :D

Really enjoyed the art style, super polished feel and narrative. Great vibes all round!

Really cool mechanics and excellent use of the theme!

Game felt super polished and loved the art style, good stuff :D

Solid puzzler and nice execution of the theme. Feel like it was a very overused mechanic for this jam but you managed to make it your own and the game felt fresh! Good stuff :)

Found gameplay a little buggy but to be expected for a jam!

Generally really enjoyable and I loved all the different types of loopies. Would have been even better if there was a reference book of some kind where you see if you've managed to collect them all.

Good stuff :)

I am terrible at platformers but at least this made me feel validated in my uselessness XD

Great concept and really well executed. Good stuff :) Enjoyed despite my incapability!

I will admit I got into the triple figures before I went and actually read what I was supposed to be doing...

So very fun :P

Nice use of the loop theme and cute cats!

Loved this! Five stars across the board. Really gave me a insight into how our developer feels :P

I will still continue to make completely random last minute design changes in the eleventh hour and hope that they just fix them :)

Really enjoyed this concept and it was really well executed!

It also felt very forgiving, which I appreciated as I'm terrible at platformers and the current trend seems to be make them impossible XD

Great entry, good work :)

Thanks for playing!

Don't forget to credit Mic the Racoon when you become a big shot musician! :D

(1 edit)

WHAT?  WHAT???!

I literally use desmos in my job and this is some insane next level stuff :O

Please please please send me the link to the actual website version so I can pick it apart and learn from you guys!!

Incredible stuff, also loved the game :)

Thanks for playing!

We used a d major pentatonic scale so hopefully any notes you threw together should have sounded good :)

If you like the art check out the demo of Squarepinski  on steam; our artist did all the art for it and it's a similar vibe.

Thanks for playing!

We did make the choice to hide the berry mechanics from the player to encourage play as apposed to optimisation, however seems to be a running theme in the feedback so will look to add it in if we develop further :)

Thanks for playing!

The soundcheck covered more of the gameplay but we didn't have time to make the main festival unclickable until you had soundchecked :) Check it out for more cuteness!

If you liked the art our artist has done amazing work with a game being released soon on steam: Squarepinski.

Thanks for playing!

Ah music doesn't need tents. Just a a big open field and vibes 😎 Hope you still managed to pay that NAN tax!

Thanks for playing!

So many bugs as we updated it about five times in the last hour... Still glad you managed to play! We used a d major pentatonic scale to make it theoretically only make tunes that 'worked'. :)

What better reason to produce music other than for hundreds of forest critters? :)

Thanks for playing!

We had to cut so much content as the programming only started to fall into place on literally the last day 😅 instrument upgrades, food/merch tents, rocker Vs raver Vs hippie mechanics etc etc

Still, really happy with what we did get done! Glad you enjoyed it :)

Haha fair point :p I came back to it and managed to get to level 10 😎 whole string of goldens

Ayeee another music game! :D

Awesome concept and loved playing around with the kit :) Felt challenging even for someone who plays drums...

Would have liked to hear the example track on loop but then might have made the game too easy?

Overall really fun :) great work!

Really enjoyed this and liked all the different interactions of stats. Would be good to remove the randomness somehow without breaking the game.

Overall solid entry :)

Brilliant concept, horrific gameplay XD

I'm a huge fan of beat games (and play drums) so was expecting to destroy this game... but could barely get it to work! I really would love to see it developed further as I would totally play a more polished version loads :)

Impressive scale (pun intended)!

I did struggle with bugs as others have mentioned, but overall a really solid game. Would have liked more clarification at the start but still enjoyable.

Thanks for playing!

Yeah we had to hard wire each note in (so 28 per instrument) otherwise it would have been even tighter on time... If we give it another run after the jam definitely will be upgraded for 8th notes :)

The critters do have a great festival vibe, plus they leave the forest clean after!

Thanks for playing!

There where a lot of known bugs on release (including a sticky button with the notes) but we simply ran out of time. classic sticky jam issues. Another fun bug is one of the notes has an entire orchestra playing instead of one note... see if you can find it :p

Thanks for playing!

We had a whole backlog of instruments to add in but each one had to be manually wired in with 4 different lengths for each note (28 bist of code for each one) so we cut them to save time.

If you like the art check our Squarepinski on Steam for more from our excellent artist :)

Thanks for playing!

We really tried to structure it to be cosy and accessible so really nice to hear your comments :D If you really liked the art check out Squarepinski on Steam for a fuller cosy puzzle game with the same artist :)

Loved loved LOVED this! Couldn't seem to get past level 7 but really nice to play with the synergies and try out different strategies.

Could never get the "clone" follower to work? Don't know if I was using it right. Also never saw more than one golden follower per game :'(

Going to go back for just one more game...

Very enjoyable, somewhat glitchy XD

Once I thought of my car being flung round the track one the end of a rope centred inside the loop the controls flowed beautifully!

Great vibes, solid game :)

Speaking as a Mathematician I blooming loved this! Would be really cool to add in some knot theory and use this as a sneaky way to teach people about a whole section of maths that simply isn't covered in schools.

As a game also great :) Viva la revolucion ;)

Really loved this game. Lovely artwork and the slow fill of colours made me really appreciate it.

Think the link to the theme was a bit tenuous but hey!

Would happily play more of this style of game, could be a really good language learning tool.
