How does your game fit the theme?
/// SPOILER ALERT /// In the game, the protagonist (Carlos) enters a futuristic bar and finds a misteryous guy and eventually talks with him. After some fights with the locals you discover that that mysterious guy is yourself from the past. Carlos defeats his past self BUT the game records the player's moves and stats. When the game restarts, on the next playthrough when Carlos reaches the final boss again he realizes the opponent is himself, as played in the previous loop.
(Optional) Please credit all assets you've used
We made all the art (models, drawings, etc), we only used mixamo for the player's animations.
We also contacted a composer who is our friend and asked him if we could use some of his music (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4aGlswgMno) we may update the description for more credit details

great game! had a lot of fun playing it. the vibe you guys set in the bar was immaculate with the music, camera pan shots, and the jumping idle animation Carlos does when he is in the fight. Thanks for making the game!
Incredible job!! The first playthrough I was feeling like the enemies were a little too easy to defeat ... and then it all came back at me when the real loop began. I almost wonder about what improvements could be made in the pacing/enemy strength in the first run-through if you continue to develop this title. Very impressive work and banging music!! :)
Game ran smoothly for me, had a good time with a lil story and hell a plottwist at the end! EPIC :D !!!
Even in spite of a couple of crashes, best game I've played so far of the Jam. Good work.
I'm sorry you experienced crashes, we'll investigate them after the jam. Thanks for playing anyways, it means a lot!
Very nice and really well polished for something made in four days.
Good luck with the jam!
Thank you genial! Good luck to you as well
Nicely done battle scene, and great art!
Game feel is great, though I felt some way to speed up animations would be nice. The loop theming feels a bit forced in though. The game itself was fun to play otherwise, I enjoyed my time with it!
nice job! i really liked the 3d models and the dialogue art!
Really cool camera work during the turn based combat. Great work!
Really good game ! Quite polished, nice art, nice story, everything's good ! The combats might get quite long but overall it's greatt
Yeah, we should have made the fights a shorter but we didn't have much time to playtest it. I'm glad you liked it!
Really cool art style, love the comic strip intro. The music was banging too. Turn-based combat can be a big challenge to implement, so the fact you guys made this all in such a short time period is incredible!
Thanks a lot!!
Love the art and the audio, fun game. Great work!
Not the type of game I like, but yo this is dope
especially audio!
Thanks RPG!
Really polished with great animations and music. The comic parts looked amazing. The realisation that it was myself was a good twist, although I should've seen it coming with this theme. The fact that on the second run you play against your old build is a very good concept but the game is too repetitive for it to feel worth playing it again. If the battles were shorter it would've been better I think.
Looks really nice and has story, which is are for a jam game. Also, this is the cutes cactus I've ever seen.
Nice turn-based game with a good story ! great job
Thanks!
its fun and cute game
I'm not sure why I'm fighting cacti and TVs but it's fun so I dont mind. No but seriously this is a fun turn-based RPG with some Pokemon flavor to it. I especially love the art and music.
I really enjoyed playing it! I found that selecting abilities with z was an odd choice but I soon got over it! Not my kind of game but really interesting it was to play
I'm really happy that you enjoyed it despite not being your kind of game!!
