Hey nice take on the loop and generally good job, as someone whos also made a platformer for the jam I have a tiny suggestion on making your gravity a little stronger so the jump feels more satisfying and less floaty, overall great stuff!!!
I like the game's take on the theme and its time limit mechanic. Good job!
Cool game, good job!
This is a fever dream
Ooof that's tight. I liked it. The last level was a little too long for me but I enjoyed this. Great job.
A nice submission overall, focusing on perfecting your run so you can make the time limit.
That being said, the last level is way too long. Having to do a 2 minute run just to realize you're 1 second late because of a mistake in the beginning is very frustrating, I would make each attempt <30 seconds if you want the time to be that tight.
The art was nice, I really liked the cutscenes, they added some humor to it :D
The music was also nice, did you make it yourself?
Voice acting was also a really nice tough ^^
The ketchup bottle gag was pretty funny. The game is a bit simple in its current form, but I think it has potential. With some more polish and some more levels, this could be a really fun game.
As a platformer I struggled with this one a bit - the time limits are extremely tight and the controls aren’t responsive enough to let you recover from individual mistakes.
I absolutely loved your approach to the death cutscenes, really novel and definitely worked well!
Cool game! I feel like have more time to complete the levels would be nice, and maybe multiple "medals" type of score, with it being so tight, the last level feels a bit long since if you miss the mark by like 1 second, you have to redo everything anyway. But I understand why it's like that, fits the theme better. Art is nice an the cutscenes are a nice touch! Overall a great entry, good work!
Interesting game! I really like that bunny sprite and cutscene and funny voice acting at the start of the game.
But jumping is a little but glitchy, sometimes game doesn't register that player jumped.
All in all, good and funny little game
I found the death animation very funny, hahaha
Interesting game! The background music was catchy and the video cutscenes were unique. Nice work!
nice game! love the voice acting and the small clips!
The animations during the level transitions and death sequences are fantastic.
Really charming style throughout.
Great game! We love the cutscenes/animations!
Cute spritework! My favorite part is the ketchup clip when you fall into spikes. :D Good shit!
From the technical perspective, I'd recommend looking into jump queueing as that'd make the platforming smoother. If you press a jump button right before you hit the ground, it feels better if the jump connects like you've properly waited to hit the ground. It's not a big change, but it would make a big difference in the second level.
Good work!
Voice acting, let's go! I loved the into and the transition scenes especially! The purple spiral kindof reminded me of Nightmare Ned! Great work!
Really nice art.
I like the videos between the levels or when you die brings a lot of charm.
And i cant get the song out of my head its too good.
Visuals were really nice and it had voice acting. Dying was the best part lol Good game!
Man the visuals here are great! Loved how the theme was integrated so deeply into gameplay! Nice work!
