How does your game fit the theme?
I tried to make a multitude of different resources that can all be either consumed or thrown. This forces the player to think about whether they want to throw or use the item. I tried to tie in the resources by making them effect the player (ex: extra time, invis mode, heavy, etc)

Easter Egg Challenge
No distinct easter eggs but unique dialogue based on how the player died, some pretty hidden ones.

Self-made & used stuff

Graphics / Art (e.g. models or textures)
Assets (e.g. free or owned)

Anything else you'd like to share about your game or development process?
I have toned down the difficulty to match new players but there is a harder version available on my itch page. (Very difficult though)

For a first project, this was definitely well done!

The humor in the death messages really made me smile—it almost made dying fun ๐Ÿ˜„
The game was pretty tough, and I died many times… which meant I got to read all those great lines!

Visually, it looked good with a style that matched the overall atmosphere. Same goes for the audio.

A solid jam entry—great job! ๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ‘

The game offers a fresh twist on resource management by forcing tough choices between using or throwing items.

Each trial felt like a meaningful challenge, with mechanics that kept me engaged throughout.
I appreciated the subtle narrative touches, especially how deaths trigger different dialogue — adds real character.
For a first project, the polish and creativity stand out. Excited to see future updates

I love the art work, the game idea, the gameplay is good but very unforgiving overall i really liked everything up until the stage with the three rows of walls with three walls having a cracked brick. I'm not sure why but some of the cracked tiles don't break when you through a rock at them, this by itself isn't really an issue but it's physically impossible to make it to the other side within the time constraints. I have been trying for +20 minutes.

I'm sorry for the confusion on that level. That is the last level though so you managed to beat the entire game which I haven't seen yet. The idea was that only some bricks would break, meaning there's only one path you can take to get there in time. I definitely should've added some hints or a YouTube walkthrough in hindsight. Thank you for the feedback though!!

nice visuals, audio, items, puzzles and overall gameplay! I did struggle a bit with controls (both movement not letting me go diagonally and also confusing right and left clicks), also I couldnt get past the forked level with 3 vampires guarding both ways (couldnt get past them as I only had 1 holy potion to use against 3 vampires) but great game nonetheless!

Developer(+1)

Thank you!!! U need to try throwing the holy potion at the priest in order to increase his holy radius for that level. I maybe shouldโ€™ve explained better.

most of the hints where explained by the demon. Maybe add that as another hint that shows after dying a few times

Great environment with brilliant artwork and audio usage. Great work!

Good spooky atmosphere with the audio and used 2d assets! I also quite like the fact you made quite a lot of death dialogue, makes it more interesting to die ;) And the lethal onions are a funny idea. Maybe a death sound would've added a lot too.

Gameplay-wise it was a bit difficult for me, I got till the 3rd or 4th challenge (room with many onion). I couldn't figure out how to get past it. Also the controls didn't feel super intuitive to me, I often clicked the wrong mouse button. Maybe automatically picking up the item would help.

i love the art alot !

I could not. Perhaps because of my poor English skills, I didn't understand something, but at the level where slowing objects appear, I'm stuck. I liked the overall visual and the atmosphere, and the puzzles themselves are interesting. But I still haven't had the opportunity to move obliquely, although it may be necessary for the genre

It doesnโ€™t explain, I have heard other say they struggled as well. You must consume the rock and stand on the pressure plate to open the gate. Regardless, thank you for the feedback and for playing!

Very fun game, and it's actually pretty hard but in a good way.  The art is insanely good and the audio very nice as well!  I also really liked all of the different dialogues when you die.   I think it would have been a lot easier to play though if you could move diagonally.  Other than that, good job!

The game is great,I really like the art style and the music but having left click to throw and right click to cinsume screwed me over as i am not using a mouse and kept throwing instead of consuming, asides that, great game!

This game looks atheistically decent and its music/sounds are top-notch. One thing that bothered me was how I kept trying to get out of the area with 3 pillars in time and I could never get past it due to the timer always running out and I have to start from beginning. I gave it around 10+ tries and could never get past that area.

Press space to pick up items, right click to consume them, and left click to throw them! I tried to do the explanation of the controls through the dialogue but people have had some issues. Regardless, thank you for the feedback!!
