Cool idea just not sure if it is the best execution. I couldn't see any visual indicator of whether or not I am using the device. Needs more audio visual feedback and some kind of indicator for the device usage. Overall good work.
Maybe the shaders were misbehaving for you, as there is a very clear shockwave effect that emits from the device when used as well as a sound effect. Could you please tell me what hardware you are running the game on? I can try to investigate. Thanks for playing!
Edge, webgl. AMD. It could just be I don't know how to play the game, can't rule out this possibility.
Thats strange because we don't have a web version of our game, its Windows only.
I am jumping through too many comments, I just assumed the possibility. In that case I really just don't know how to play this game.
Not directly related how I don't know how to play your game. There was another that handled abnormalities quite well next door, you should try it if you haven't already. You Might get inspirations, it is called "Purge Repurpose Destroy", I think they handled it quite well. It was simpler too albeit a bit slow paced in the gameplay department.
I couldn't find any anomalies, butI like the idea and the art in the game. Well done.
Thanks for playing!
Nice idea! I wasnt able to find a anomalie sadly, maybe some more obvious at the beginning would be nice for some noobs like me :D Besides that, everything ran smoothly and i really like the concept!
Thanks for playing! Yeah there needs to be some balance tweaks for the starting hours at least. We plan to put much more obvious anomalies at least for the first 3 hours, so that the player can get into a groove. Appreciate the feedback!
This concept is really cool and very creepy, but I couldn’t find any anomalies after 2 playthroughs. Having the remote beep when you’re close by an anomaly would really help. I feel like you captured the uneasiness of phasmaphobia perfectly here, and should really consider making this a bigger project. Making sure all the anomalies are creepy is some way would heavily benefit that. Keep it up!
Thank you so much! We are currently considering turning this into something more :)
Yeah, more creepy and help players identify anomalies easier (at least at the beginning when getting familiar is definitely something we have in our backlog :D
Reaally liked this one. Big fan of anomaly games and this is a really good one :) Mighty impressed by all the content you were able to put into this. Maybe switching between all those different anomaly modes could be improved but besides that nothing to critique
Thank you for your feedback!
Do you have some specific improvement in mind? :)
It was Phasmaphobia meets Observation Duty. I really enjoyed this one! I only removed 3 anomalies, but still had a lot of fun. Great work!
Thanks for playing!
3D design is amazing — can’t believe you pulled this off in such a short time. The first-person hands look so creepy too
Thanks a lot for playing! Yeah we had a rather busy week, but also the extra couple of days towards the end was helpful for bug fixes too. The hand is actually from a Mixamo character :D
There is something psychologically taxing about having a tool meant to deal with "mimics". I didn't even encounter a mimic while playing, but couldn't stop worrying about it.
Thanks for playing! Yes I worry about mimics when Im at home too :-/
WTH? This a really good, the environment is really nice and love the device idea
I don't have much complaint on this, really like the game
Amazing job man hope more people play it :)
Really kind words, thank you so much for playing!
I had a blast playing this.
The sound and atmosphere really helped me get immersed :D
Great job!
Thanks a lot for playing! Appreciate it :D
