Playing this game daily for a couple of years now and today I finally broke a barrier I thought was maybe impossible to break :D 80 points <3 I’m curious what the highest recorded score is. image.png

Thank you so much for the review and very good feedback :) Yeah, I think some kind of ingame tutorial would be really helpful. Have to add that post-jam!

What a fun game :D Love the idea of having the bird to detect gas. The visuals are also great, love the “2D”/Sprite 3D Style. I made it to the second floor and then exploded after using the lighter near the colorful gas 😅 That was most likely a stupid idea.

Reaally liked this one. Big fan of anomaly games and this is a really good one :) Mighty impressed by all the content you were able to put into this. Maybe switching between all those different anomaly modes could be improved but besides that nothing to critique

Really neat game! Love the visuals. Don’t know if there’s a way to avoid the witch once she saw you, but if I wasn’t able to figure it out 😅 Atmoshphere and visuals are amazing.

The atmosphere and visuals are great! I like tank controls and feel they are well implemented :) The enemy/antagonist is quite fast, I think a bit too fast, but besides that really well put together. Ingame music/sfx controls would be nice

The aesthetic and the body horror is so amazing. I didn’t connect much with the gameplay but just watching and listening to what happens to the ballerina had me engaged. Really beautiful and haunting.

And that’s why if I ever buy a house, it will only have one (max two!) doors. That’s for sure. Really enjoyed this game :) I think I beat it, I blocked all five doors but then nothing happened. Not sure if I had to wait for a bit longer, I waited quite a bit. Nevertheless great game! I think some footstep sfx for the player character would have been awesome.

That was amazing! Really creative way to set up a VN ✨ Enjoyed the character portraits and the general aesthetic of the chat/forum a lot

Very interesting game! Love the style and aesthetic. Wasn’t able to solve the .. “math wall” 😅

Super charming idea :) Well executed! Liked it a lot

Well this certainly didn’t improve my productivity today, haha :D What an AMAZING game. Such a great idea. I escaped in 39 minutes, currently 45 on leaderboard. The fact that you have a leaderboard alone :D I want to try again. I don’t think I ever played a game jam entry for this amount of time.

Awesome, thank you for the link :) This goes into my rotation

Love the mix of 8bit artstyle and this fmv like first person gameplay :) Didn’t expect the story to get so involved - loved it! Great entry and great job :)

Really well made game - enjoyed my time with it a lot :) A jump-scare in the closet had me almost poop my pants. I struggled a bit with the doors until I figured out that I actually have to look at the door handle to interact - I feel like a more general door-interaction would make it a bit easier to figure out. Besides that, nothing to complain - awesome game, great job! :)

Another great “Restaurant” kind of horror game :D The idea is so creative (and gross but in a good way). Really well executed gameplay loop. Had to laugh out loud when I recycled the first body and it was just replaced with a fresh one. Great job!

This was really fun! I love the aesthetic, the humor and how well the gameplay mechanic was executed. I played the Closing Shift and tbh I found this much more polished in comparison when it comes to actually making the drinks. It just feels better. Great job! and the music!! Such a vibe, I love the first song that plays in the radio. Is the song available somewhere? The band is called.. vayblast?

Yo, that’s an impressive score! Thank you for your great feedback - I really appreciate it.

Yo, that’s an impressive score! Thank you for your great feedback - I really appreciate it.

Thank you so much for your feedback :) I also totally agree - when I play the most current build, I also realize that the primary attack is underpowered and there are times when the breaks are too long and there’s nothing to do. I’ll hopefully be able to tackle those issues in an updated version later on! Thanks again :)

What an amazing aesthetic and atmosphere. Really impressed that you were able to pull this of in a week! The notebooks is really cool, love how juicy it is to flick through the pages.

Really neat game! I love the artstyle, it’s such a clever way to combine 2D and 3D :) On issue I discovered - when I press [E], I wasn’t able to move anymore until I tabbed out of the game and back in. I got caught by the monster roaming around a couple of times and wasn’t able to reach the princess yet, but i’ll try again, for sure :)

Really cool game! I love the personal vibe of it, the pictures of you and the detail you put into the house interior :) At first I struggled finding the satellite dish but then I saw the other comments pointing out where it was. But then I wasn’t able to pick up a burger, I think because I had the dish picked up and I wasn’t able to put it down anywhere. If you can hint me how I could continue, I’d totally try again :) Wanna see if there’s a horror part comming up. Atmosphere is already great! Only thing I would recommend to improve - the mousewheel button prompt is kinda irritating at first, when there is not more than one option to select.

Really sweet little horror game :) I really dig the style and vibe of these overly simplified environments. The blender monkey head monster was at first scary and then very funny :D Good job!

Really polished and well made :) I didn’t really understand the scoring system and it was at times almost impossible to avoid some of the beans but it’s so clean and juicy - had an amazing time with the game!

Miighty impressive for a 1 week game jam entry! Really enjoyed my time with the game. The visuals are the perfect mix between cute and spooky and it really invokes the Halloween vibes. An option to lower the music volume would be awesome. I had one technical problem - Whenever I connected my PS4 controller I usually use, the camera kept rotating and even after disconnecting it I wasn’t able to get it to not rotating until I restarted the game. That’s just if that’s interesting to you and you might want to have a look at it. Great game! Gonna check out your other games for sure :)

Oh, that was a really fun experience. At first I was a bit confused about the kinda unusual 3rd person camera but then I really liked it. Such a cool way to implement the character and camera controls. Felt very good. I think the game could use a bit more sound effects but besides that I have nothing to complain - super solid and sweet little game :)

Thank you for the review and great feedback :) Eclipsium was actually a reference for me - though I haven’t played it yet.

Edit: At everyone else: You really have to wait for ~a minute or two until the game loads. After that everything was working fine, for me at least.

Review: What a cool and elaborate game :) I just recently played No I’m not a human and this feels very inspired by it. Love the artstyle and the humor. I hope the microwave next to the toilet is not based on real events! I wasn’t sure why I got possesed after I showed the crucifx to the first lady that gets on the bus. Wanna play it some more in the future for sure :) Great job!

Thank you for playing it and the feedback! 😊 I will also give your game a try!

Hey!! Thanks for the Let’S Play :D That was super entertaining. Glad you enjoyed the game

Haha, what a fun game :D After struggeling at first I was able to master the chit chat, add all the numbers and finally got my promotion. Love those psychadelic visuals

The atmosphere is top notch! Great entry :) Performance was a bit of a problem on my machine and maybe the forrest could need a bit more variation when it comes to the trees, but other than that I really enjoyed the game!

What a cool and interesting idea for a psychological horror game! I love the narration, the presentation is really fitting for this kind of game and now I know what’s the diameter of the earth times 4. Awesome! Also the pacing is really good - I was almost going to stop at some point but then the timeskip happened which helped me continuing with the game

Yo, that was fun :) The movement is super smooth, the aesthetic and especially sound design are top tier creepy. And the giant green speeder is a great contrast to all the red tinted scenery. Short but super good! Great job

Very impressive game! Amazing what you achieved in just a week :) I really like the concept and think it’s an awesome interpretation of the Jam’s theme. The combat feels satisfying, only the camera shake while shooting was a bit to intense for my taste. The idea to mix this kind of gameplay with spotting anomalies is really clever - I just played Exit 8 recently and it remembered me of that game in a very positive kinda of way :)

Very neat game! Love the atmosphere and the aesthetics of the apartment and especially the sounds are adding a lot to the atmosphere. Great job!

Wasn’t able to get the game to fullscreen, but that might be on me.

Awesome game! The atmosphere is super dense and I love the visuals :)

Cool game :) The first moment I looked over the railing and the wolfman standing down there was really chilling. Very effective horror!
