Very tense gameplay loop! I fucked up a couple of times by sending the corpse back to recycling rather than operating, but that my bad lol

Very fun!

It was a nice take on the concept of illegal organ trafficking, The gameplay is nice but I would have preferred things to be more snappy. I like the direction where you started to use Abstract words instead of the organ names, it made the player think more.

The game's aesthetic and visuals are perfect. It already feels like something that would be on Steam. I am excited to see more updates for the game. As some of the comments below said, it reminds me of a messed up version of Overcooked. I think it would be great if you started using different types of "meat" for some extra variety.

Fantastic game! Reminds me of surgeon simulator on steroids! I really liked the mechanics of obtaining body parts according to the wants of the creepy customers! I wish I had paid more attention during biology classes haha!

Very well done and I would love to see a fully-fleshed out (Badum-tss) game!

Reminds me of those overcooked style games except its horror and some of the requests are really subjective or vague. I really had to think hard and try to figure out where I would even get an EYE from. I guess I just have to give them anything to keep them from waiting. Really creepy vibes and a great prototype! Well done! Hoping for perhaps either a next stage or some sort of death ending. No bugs and cool game overall! Amazing!

What is a "LONG".
The game is pretty cool, you can experience organ harvesting. I still don't know what a LONG is.

Developer

Isn't the human small intestine like 7 meters long (22 feet)? :D These are the fun fact you get to learn in organ harvesting.
Well, of course, I also marked few other organs as "long", which compared to small intestine, is rather pitiful assessment to them, but there are few organs which I subjectively determined to be "long".

That is a funny as hell screenshot though, thanks for playing!

ohhh yea. this is definitely my style. Had my large and small intestines mixed up at first and was kinda confused why they didn't like what I gave them but then I found the little anatomy poster. My second playthrough I kinda went all buffet style and just lined up plates as much as I could. Was surprised it let me, haha. My only gripe is that it doesn't seem like you can reliably have a parasite when asked. At least without shuffling a ton of cadavers. (isnt that a fancy word). Really impressive for a week, and honestly one of my favorites of this jam!

Developer

Look at that, the game is actually educational! :O You are welcome for the knowledge of which one is the small intestine and which is the large one. Lmao, ok joking.

In all honestly, I could not bother coding in a plate-limit for the game jam, figured people would have more fun spamming and getting stuck to all of them plates. But that is also one of the "balancing a game like this is surprisingly hard" issues, along with the parasite being weirdly popular customer request whenever I have seen people play this... For some reason. But yes, thank you for playing and the feedback! Glad you enjoyed the buffet game!

Wow, really cool experience! For 1 week is quite polished and playful! When the lights turned red, I was expecting that some doors would open and something would eat me alive haha
Clever touch to have no HUD and use the Monitor display to give info. Congrats!
If you could rate my game, it would be really appreciated :D

very cool, when the timer ran out and it all turned red i was actually shitting myself. super tense, reminded me of those cooking games where you need to grab plates and take orders and stuff

This was genuinely unsettling. Well done!

Really cool concept! I managed 14 customers, and I liked the introduction of abstract names for organs, although I didn't understand "eye" and "salty". Also, I was able to exploit the game a bit by stockpiling organs from multiple bodies on the first customer, since there was no timer!! Really cool idea and very macabre. I like it.

Developer(+1)

Heh, ye it is kind of indented tactic that you can stockpile the organs, that's why there is more abstract words added to the list; Even if you stock pile you kinda have to figure out and remember what indeed is "salty" (though some of the abstract words are bit unbalanced and silly at the moment). Additionally there are also words like "eye", which you can't get if you just stockpile organs from the first body :D

But yes, even still, the balance is bit off right now, as I spend only one day testing and adjusting the balance of the game, nevertheless, thank you for playing and the feedback!

I really loved the atmosphere and concept for this game. As others have mentioned, more gameplay other than increased difficulty would have been awesome but I understand it's a jam game -- would love to see you take this idea further! The setting alone made it naturally terrifying, and I found myself wondering why I was working this job - I especially enjoyed the tutorial as just an ominous, vague entity on the screen - gave me Saw vibes. Very cool.

I was freaked out by the thought that I might end-up having to start cutting out my own organs!

Great ambiance, the door panel animation was smooth!

Nice game over all! Fun little "cooking game" kind 🤔 Lol. I liked the little kick they do when they are getting impatient nice little touch. Good sound design and atmosphere over all! Great submission

Wow, this like restraunt rush meets surgeon simulator, but all in a retro horror package. I love it.
I will say, some progression would have been nice, other than just an increase in difficulty, and maybe some indication of how much patience is left for the customers, I found myself not really stressing about it.

Still a cool game.

Developer

Thank you! I def agree, I wanted more have more involved progression, but due to time limit I ended up with just the ramping up of the stress and oddities that you find (aka. organ varieties). But, I suppose the intention was to make a stress simulator, so sounds I got it at least somewhat close here by the sound of it lol.

Tence for sure! Overall seems super polished, very well done :)

Super tense gameplay loop. I wish there was a fail state, I replayed and did nothing on purpose expecting to get jumped but the monitor displays the same message as when I delivered 43. Great prototype tho, really well done.
